Is anyone else as tired as I am of Boone Beatings? Well if you are I suggest you join forces with me! We need to defend our boy! And before someone flames me, I'm not trying to stop your fun or anything. I just want to speak with some like-minded folks.

If you're with me, remember to sign any of your posts with ETBB. You don't have to but it'd be cool if you did. Lol

No offense to anyone else on this board, but I really dont think this is silly... Why? Because I see Member of STOP: Society To Oust Purgatory theories.

Now, I dont like purgatory theories, but no one ever said that was silly.

I see some that say, Society to upset Dom fans, again, no one said that was silly.

I agree with BooneFan, we arent forcing anyone to stop, if you like Boone beatings, ok.

I have one question though, if someone got on the board and said the campaign you had joined was silly, would you not get a little defensive also?

I'd be that pretty too if I wore all that makeup. Why does everyone always say it has to be jealousy if you don't like a character, maybe it's just because he annoys you. As for the other clubs on here, I am an equal opportunity offender and I have mocked them all at one point or another. By the way, some of you talk as if we were the ones that actually made Boone get beat every week. You should be aware, that is all done by the creators and writers of the show. THEY choose to beat Boone on an almost weekly basis. We simply applaud their efforts. And, as I have said before, Boone beating just has a nice ring to it.

Besides, he's a pansy.

Makeup? It doesn't look like he's decked out in all that makeup. But I'm sure all actors need it on screen, too. Anyway, my friend went to the premiere here in Hawaii of Lost and she said Ian came up to her and introduced himself, and she was saying how much greater he looks in person (and she said his eyes are SO much nicer than onscreen) :lol I'm envious.

When you say picture under your screen name, do you mean an icon like the moving gif of Jack & Kate that I have?

If so, go under edit profile, and enter the desired url, just make sure that you have the image hosted on: PhotoBucket.com (http://www.photobucket.com).

Also, if you want the icon to be it's full size, which is usually 100 x 100, put a space after the file extension, and enter this: height=100 width=100

Alright, this is just getting ridiculous now! It almost seems like it's a running joke with the show: "Well, who shall we have beat up Boone this week?" I wouldn't be suprised if they have Kate taking a whack at him in the next new episode! Though, I must admit that he kind of brought it on himself this time. It wasn't his place to step between Micheal and Locke. I'm sure Locke is plenty capable of taking care of himself. Nevertheless, the Boone beatings must stop! :)

Will you people never learn...the Boone beatings are part of the show. The writers include it every week for a reason, it makes good TV. Just accept the fact that the beatings are what he is there for. He's like the red shirts, every week one or two died. On this show, Boone gets beat every week. It's part of what makes it fun. And don't worry, he can still be "dreamy" and get beat. Look at it this way, at least if he gets beat every week, you'll get to see the little wimp every week. Count your blessings, if he doesn't get beat, what would they need him for?

The boone beatings are deserved. Cmon this guy was following his step sister around wanting to get in her pants. I would say maybe he can have one week off cause he finally nailed her. But then they need to continue and need to be more intense. Boone is a punk - I think they should have walt kick his ass next week.

I mean, once in a while was alright (well, not alright, but I mean it wasn't as BORING), but come on, every episode now? It's getting tiring...not just the beating part, just the whole idea of fighting every episode anyway...why do people always need to pick fights (physical, I mean). Jeez, you'd think they'd learn to ignore those they dislike or just learn to like them. You're on the island together, and you're gonna be for awhile. Get used to it.

We here at Lost-TV love Boone, full of snuggles and kisses, and the actor that plays him, Ian Somerhalder. However, we also rather love, full of snuggles and kisses, Boone Beatings - a reference to the number of times Boone was beaten up in the show.

Alas, Boone Beatings are now over, but we are all waiting to see who the Island's next punching bag will be. Speculation is that it's Charlie.

The so-called "Boone Beatings" happened over many episodes, and seemed so daily in occurrence that a cult counting group arose. For example: Charlie hit him; Sawyer hit him; Michael hit him; Shannon's then boyfriend hit him; Locke hit him; in a sense the drug plane hit him; also Jack may have hit him by reinflating his lung and by setting his fractured leg (and was about to give Boone the ultimate beating when Boone himself spoke up against that little medical procedure). Did I miss any?

I believe you're correct boonian. Geez, I really need to start rewatching S1 again, I'm starting to loose bits and pieces.

That said, I think Charlie was the first one on the island. When you incorporate the flashbacks, wasn't Shannons then boyfriend in Sydney the first? I can't remember any earlier than that but I'm sure if there were, someone will let me know.

As far as a chronological timeline goes, Shannon's boyfriend would have the honor of administering the first Boone beating the audience has seen (but more likely this was just one more in a long line of such incidents). As far as the island goes, it was Charlie over the water incident.
Thank you azteclady! :) Seems I've at least retained that much from S1. It's nice to know that the first one to administer a Boone Beating, on the island, is now on the other end of said beatings. Nice transition IMHO. :)
