Ok, I've been thinking for a while and reading a lot of the theory surronding LOST. I heard many times about the good and evil, the christ etc... but I beleive that using those themes could destroy the serie in the long run for 2 reasons. 1. it's benn over used 2.they might lose some audiences especially cause it's hard to make something about good and evil credible. I've thought about the alien possibility, like the movie Forgotten, or x-files, but I don't think that's it. Is this a science fiction tv show?? Finally I came up with an idea of my own, which I haven't read yet.
Here it is: the island is a military or scientafic research center. May be it was abandonned or maybe it is still operationnal, who knows. The polar bear, what was it doing there: they brought polar bears to study their survival capabilities in hot weather. Why did the french girl Rousseau went to the island in the fisrt place? what is the metal on the ground? A tunnel, remaining of a building? what about the signal playing for 16 years? It has to be a power supply? how can there be a power supply on a deserted island? I could go even further, but I donT' think that's it, maybe "they" are doing an experiment on how people survive in the wild...
I've come to think also that a good suspence tv show in unpredictable and also never stops surprising us. the ending has to reveal everything and has to blow us away. I'm asking then, to all of you out there, what could blow us away, where are they, who are "they"?
