What happened to that guy?

Hey, remember in the pilot, ep. 1: Jack, Michael, and I think Locke (possibly Boone was there too) help pull a guy out form under the wreckage? He had a really messed up leg.

What happened to that guy? I seem to remember Boone asking how he was doing and Jack said something like, "Oh, I got the bleeding to stop, patched him up, and he'll be fine."

He's like totally disappeared. I would like to know more about him, sooner rather than later.

More then likely, if he survived, he's one of the background surviours now...we might see him again at some point.

You would think someone who owned a wheelchair but didn't need it anymore would let it go pretty cheap.

I'd like to know too because I swear it looked like his leg was nearly gone. I thought they'd have to amputate.
