Ana Lucia is definitely one mean SOB, but I think it's hilarious that Sawyer spent all of last season being a jerk, and now gets his ass kicked on a regular basis.

I can't wait for Ana Lucia and Kate to cross paths, I foresee a Dynasty-worthy catfight. Maybe they can fight over Jack.

Other show thoughts:

* Explaining away Desmond was lame. Locke could track a pixie in the desert. Plus, Locke didn't seem too concerned by it.
* Hugo's back story was funny (and melancholy).
* At least they ATTEMPTED to answer some lingering questions: the power source for the station; acknowleding the number/execution/computer process is silly - but they're going to do it anyway.
* Was anyone else disturbed that Locke now has an assault rifle?

Not as annoyed as I was after Ep.3, but they'd better pick up the pace.

I'm wondering if AL and Kate don't wind up clashing over Sawyer. As far as Locke tracking Desmond, I thought his answer a little strange too. I seriously doubt Desmond could have kept Locke off his trail if Locke really wanted to find him.

I think Anna-Lucia comes between Jack and Kate. Remember the scene with A-L and Jack at the airport bar? They seem to be hitting it off rather well.
Maybe there will be a catfight between A-L and Kate.
Sawyer had some GREAT one-liners in last nights show.

I agree that AL will likely become between Jack and Kate but is there realy anything for her to come inbetween of? Yeah they have chemistry and flirt, etc. but nothing has really materialized between them in terms of physical contact, etc.
Just some flirty moments and longing looks, etc. Yeah they are both loyal to each other and have a bond, but not a real relationship regardless of what Sawyer says :D

And the scene in the airport was pretty much a foreshadowing now that we know AL is still kicking and screaming. Though I think if she IS a cop or something of the like, it will definately create a power struggle. She'll probably look to Jack for support on group society issues if she starts taking control,etc. I bet jack will like for someone else to take the lead, however it may mean that he will end up alienating himself from people that he has grown to trust and become friends with such as Kate, Sayid, etc.
