A while back I posted a thought that the others may have injected Sun with something to get her pregnant and that Charlie may have helped the others when he knocked Sun unconscious in S2 and perhaps even taken her to the others camp. I don't know how Charlie would have found the camp unless he is a plant for the Others. Or perhaps he just left sun in the jungle and the others found her on their own.

Anyway. I had posted this before we all met Juliet and now I'm thinking that this ideas has much more merit with the fact having come to light that Juliet is a fertility specialist. We are all assuming that either Jin or Sun's former lover are the baby's father but if Juliet helped Sun with some type of injection therapy or in vitro then who knows who could be the baby's father.

I'm pretty sure that Charlie was just working for Sawyer when he kidnapped Sun, plus we know that the others camp is at least a couple of days walk from the beach, so someone would've noticed if they had both been gone so long.

I don't buy Charlie's inclusion in the plot. He didn't get Sun that far away from her garden before she kicked and got away.

I can se how you brought Juliet into your theory. As you mention, being a researcher into human reproduction it's easy to make that part of the puzzle fit. But, I'm back to my first question, was this done off-camera?

My thought is that the strongest connection between Sun and Juliet is yet to come.
From the moment Jules was introduced I felt she'd wind up on the beach with the rest of the Losties. The question is who's side will she be on, the Losties or the Others? I don't think she can be trusted so if she suddenly finds a way to escape with Jack, it could be a plot to allow thier fertility specialist to get close to Sun. Jack would be her ticket to the good graces of the nearly fed up Losties, but I doubt if it would be too smooth.

Please don't let TPTB know about this thought. I don't want Season 5 to be a 'who is the father of Suns baby' stretch out. Although if we're placing bets I'm going for Walt. Don't ask.
