What did Nikki say?

Ok, Hurley says she said "Paulo lies". This is very close to "paralyzed". I believe that "paralyzed" was her last word. Now does this matter? Depends on whether or not she digs her way out. I think there's got to be more to Nikki and Paulo, after all TPTB said that their characters were somehow important in the whole scheme of things.

(I searched, but did not find this. Ignore if this has been discussed.)

The episode moved so fast that I had a hard time keeping up (also watching with some very bothersome chatterers).

I didn't catch it until her eyes popped open.
