New Theory ... i think

My brother's girlfriend had an interesting theory and bein that I'm new to the boards, forgive me if it's been said already: She thinks that the research vessel that was shipwrecked on the island 16 years ago was investigating a once "non-threatening" paranormal island. an island that disappeared around 20 years ago (give or take a few years) and the same paranormal activities that are now becoming increasingly more dangerous is responsible for the survivors' fears, fantasies, and imaginations to materialize into reality (i.e.- Locke's use of his legs). What's interesting about her theory is that the island in question didn't disappear from the world, it disappeared from ABC's schedule, that island bein fantasy island! It's no better or worse than I've already read and Sawyer callin Walt "tatoo" could be just another nickname or a hint the writers dropped. the resort coulda been shut down and researches sent in because the place took a dark turn.... if ya hate the idea, blame my brother's girlfriend, if ya like it thank me because i posted it.

It actually wouldn't be such an outlandish twist except for the risk factor. The risk being that actual ABC/Abram's Team blood would be shed if they revealed to millions of loyal viewers after five dedicated years of speculating around the watercooler and on message boards that they've been watching Return to Fantasy Island.

Yeah, but it would get the writers of the show out of a jam by explainin all the loop-holes ya all have pointed out on this site by simply sayin--- "it's like that show 'fantasy island' gone really, really WRONG!" just like that they'd be freed! researchers and military occupyin' the place and the whole thing goin to hell w/ the plane--- Ethan is Mr. Rourkes' bastard kid wanting an offspring to his throne?--- think of all the absurd possibilities.... crud, I just turned my favorite show into "escape from fantasy island".... someone take this far fetched ball and run with it--- run like the wind!
