polar bears.

I missed the part about the world trade center being in the background... i was focused on the fact that the present michael brought for walt was a polar bear. thats the 4th time i can recall the polar bears. first was the one shot by sawyer. second was the one on the back of the comic book walt was reading then there was the polarbear attacking walt when michale and john rescued him . and now walt gets a polar bear for a present in the second season. anyone know what is with all the polar bears in the south tropics?

speaking of that comic walt was reading....did anyone else notice in the recap episode that the cover of the comic was intentionally blurred out?

an alien trapped underground that couldn't act physically so it acted with telepathy to get people above ground to do its bidding......I know there is an ellaborate thread on it here. go check the index....I would, but geez those things just keep growing....haha
