Episode Description:

Kate is left to fend for herself in the jungle with Juliet. Meanwhile, Hurley warns Sawyer that he faces banishment if he doesn't change his selfish ways.

To be honest, it's probably one of those chance encounters that they tease us with. The only real big one that's ever been explained is Sawyer meeting with Jack's dad, and then Sawyer indirectly telling Jack about it.

This is assuming that anything the Others do is what it seems, which I've been maintaining it is not from the very begining. I'm sure Juliet being handcuffed to Kate will be in furtherance of some larger scheme.

They might know that Kate was on her way to Iowa, in which case they're probably set a trap for her for a few days. Eventually, though, she should be able to wait them out. The FBI wouldn't devote that many resources forever.

because Ben is fixed and perhaps because he has Lhocke with them so he might figure out a way to become like Lhocke and never get hurt and be fully healed
