My countertheories/theories

Ive basicallt decided to put up a thread that will denounce a few theories and share some my own.

First of:

the only person in the hatch is Desmond, there is no Jack 2, if there were, desmond would not have threatened jack because he would have already known him, ethan is not in the hatch either, ther hatch was bolted too tightly, as if to keep something out, not to let someone out and in as ethan pleases

then...

the stuff De smond injected into himself was nothing near a steroid,when was the last time someone air-pressure injected a steroid into their bicep(ill tell you what it is in a little bit)

and then...

Desmond is not "bad", he is not one of the others, the only possible situation where he could be bad is if ghe killed everyone in the hatch, and ran into the jungle, he will help jack and the rest of the survivors

thats just a few, now even less of my theories

now....

1. raftees will encounter a shark in the ocean

2. the stuff injected into desmonds arm is a vaccine, thats why he has "im sick" all over the wall, not to mention the way the bottles of the stuff was stored in looked

3. as much as i hate the theory that walt has powers, i belive he projected himself in front of shannon sayin "dont press the button the button is bad", he said it backwards because people sometimes slur their words this way after a tramatic event(kidnapping)

4. I believe the monster is a machine, it is just more than 4 dimensions, the human eye can only pick up on 3 0r 4 dimensions, but the smoke coming out of the machine is 3d, therefore you can see it

5. the broncos will win the superbowl

6. this one is more of a theory in advance, the air-pressure injector demond used is a military only device(could be something to this?)

7. the hatch looks like a shelter built to withstand a nuclear attack(just a thought)

8> and last..... if there somehow happens to be 2 people in the hatch, i firmly believe it is........

i thought the man in the hatch at the beggining looked more like the fiancee than desmond

There's some good stuff in there.

But I think the underground bunker is probably VAST. I think there's another way in and out, that is also heavily barricaded or whatever- and the Hatch was not the only way in. Not that I think Ethan was ever down there. I don't.

I don't know that I believe Ethan was in cahoots with the bad dudes on the boat. But he knows why they want Walt, and that's the same reason he wanted Aaron.

I think as far as the raftees go, Sawyer has somehow bummed a ride with the Others. He was first in the water (granted, he was likely shot), but he had time to swim over and grab hold of something. Michael and Jin will be floating back to the island on wreckage- but they won't end up on the beach where they left... I think THEY will encounter the Tail Section Survivors, and it won't be a happy reunion.

That whole notion of the double Jack... I don't know what to think of these "easter egg clues" on the Flight815 website. The mechanical monster page that was there this summer could still be a lot of hooey. I think the 4D entity idea. If that's the case, it would appear as some form of 3D object that keeps changing size (like a tentacle that gets fatter and thinner). If it IS 4th dimensional, that would fuel notions of "other-dimensional" phenomenon going on. Time travel wouldn't be out of the question.

So you think there are two people in the hatch?
I did think that the body shots of the guy working out and making a protein shake was not the body of an extremely fit athelete like Desmond was in the Jogging scene. Anybody else think he was a little soft looking?

I think it was Desmond, start to finish. I think the actor isn't as fit as one might suspect the character is. But I don't think they were suggesting it was two different people.

i think it is very likely that at least one other entrance to the underground lair exists somewhere on the island. the hatch entrance that locke and boone found obviously had not been used in quite some time but tahat doesn't mean it is the only one.
