Episode Description:

Jack's joyous reunion with his fellow survivors is cut short when they realize that accompanying him is one of "The Others," and Claire is stricken by a mysterious, life-threatening illness.

Juliet was pretty gutsy in the flashback. Drinking that whole thing down in a second-- Ethan has impeccable comic timing, by the way. My mom laughed at the "you probably shouldn't have drunk that so fast" line.

Sounds like a form of when the woman has rh- blood and the baby is positive but in reverse. It's not killing the baby but the mother instead. They are giving her a type rhogan.

i think that perhaps the Others believe that Sun could not conceive because of the news she received before getting on the plane. So perhaps that is why they aren't bothering her
