Ok now at the end of season 1 Sawyer was "shot",but how do we know for sure it was real bullets in the gun.It could have been blanks and it was part of his/Lock/Desmund's plan. Now Lock looked too calm for me when he was being held at gunpoint by Desmund, like he knew him.Lock,Desmund,Sawyer are the kind of people who would be involved in a plan on the island.

Wow now that is reaching

Why not say Arntz and Desmond were working together and Arntz blew himself up on purpose just to fool everyone..

I'm not saying i'm fully behind this theory, and correct me if i'm wrong, but i don't think i've ever seen Locke & Sawyer exchange one word with one another.

Is this because the writers don't want to give a hint that there's any kind of thing between them?

Could be true, though i don't buy the sawyer being shot with blanks - they still left him 15 miles or more out at sea with no raft etc...

Also why use blanks with a silencer????

...and how the heck do blanks make you spin around and knock you off a boat? Sorry, but that makes NO sense.

That makes no sense at all...think harder...."And you said, You said you'd give me a twinkie." - CHunk

um, yeah, i don't really buy this either. but my mom swears locke is in on it. i guess she thinks it's suspicious that he asked kate to go down into the hatch first, plus the fact that we never actually saw him going in. as for sawyer, though, it is interesting to watch the scene where walt is taken from the raft. when sawyer appears to get shot it sure looks to me like he dives into the water rather than just falling from the force of a bullet.

Or maybe Boone is in on it with Desmond, and he's mindcontrolling Locke.
