Jack - My speculations...

Forgive me if this has been posted elsewhere, I looked and didn't see it.

I was just thinking how strange it is that Jack (and only Jack) had really odd conversations with TWO people (Anna Lucia and Desmond) that are both showing up on the island, and how strange it is that both of those people met up with him on a friendly basis (we think), and how both gave Jack "Advice" -

Has anyone else thought about this? I've thought for a while that Jack does seem to be the one that the show is somewhat centering around, with him being the primary leader of the group.

Maybe they wanted to get him on the island to "test" him..

Jack is obviously a major character. I would say one of the 3 central characters with Kate and Locke. Moving to Jack's forum.

Irish420, I think it's very important that Jack's the only one we've seen so far. l wouldn't be surprised to find conversations between all of our main characters and strangers. That maybe the connecting factor between our survivors.

Yea!!! Jack's story is unfolding and I think that he has a very strong conection to the island. I can't believe he talked to Desmond!!!!

Jack has a lot of depth already as a character they had to since he is technically the 'leader'. So i'm not surprised that some of the newer characters have already had interaction with Jack or are connected with him somehow. I think Jack is a great person of course, but I wouldn't keep him on a pedestal too high.
