I really liked Matthew Fox in this show. I thought he was pretty hot... ;)
I liked him better than Scott Wolf.

where's he been? Haven't heard about him since Party of Five up until now.
I did like him a lot of Party of Five though, when I watched it which wasn't all that often.

If I had the cash, I'd totally grab the complete first season of Party of Five. I used to love this show...
Mmmm... he was yummy on Party of Five--hairy chest and all! It's such a shame his thriller/drama series Haunted only lasted a few episodes on UPN a couple of seasons ago. Ah well--at least we get him on Lost now! Wheeee! :rollin

Yeah, he was awesome on Party of Five, which is why I am so happy to see him in a new show, it's even better that he is in a show with Dom! Wow, TV really can't get much better. :D
I'm also curious though where he's been since Party of Five, he kind of dropped off the face of the planet. Where did he go??
He was on UPN's short-lived drama Haunted. :)

I loved him on Party of Five and just adored Haunted. It really was a good show, in that he showed him in a different light, not always perfect Charlie someone to rely on.
I so happy he's here!

Yeah, I liked him on Po5 as well. I just bought the first season on DVD. The best seasons though are Kirstens depression and Bailey's alcoholism.

I enjoyed Party of Five it was one of my favorite TV shows. I'm glad Matt is on a show now that is getting the critical acclaim and popularity that it deserves. POF while critics loved never was very popular with the fans.

I was raised without a TV, so I have never seen party of five ever. However I am considering asking for the first season on dvd for my birthday. So I have some questions:
Is it worth buying?
What other shows is it like?
Is the first season worth it, or should I wait for the later seasons?
What is Matthew Fox like in it, is he focused on in the first season?
If im not a big soap/romantic comdy fan would I still like it?
-Please help. I need advice, I don't want to waste 70 dollers(even if it is someone elses money) on a bad show-
I've seen clips of POF but I've never watched the show. I was too young to appreciate a drama back then! I'd love the get the DVD soon.

Did any of you Party of Five fans find it hard to adjust to the fact that their was a Charlie on the Island and it wasn't Matthew Fox? For the first couple of episodes, someone would refer to Charlie and I'd immediately think of Fox!
Also, to those who have never watched Party of Five...GRAB THE SEASON 1 DVDS! You'll be glad you did. It's easily one of the best shows I've ever watched.

For the first couple of episodes, someone would refer to Charlie and I'd immediately think of Fox!Okay, I have to admit that I had this problem at first and I wanted to call him Charlie so many times... and I never really watched Party of Five (I saw several episodes but it just wasn't one of "my shows"). I remember thinking he was cute back in the Po5 days, but man, he is so much better looking now. It really is true that some men do get better with age (not all, and I could give you some examples, but I won't)... he has aged very well. I have to say, I envy the women he works with LOL.

If anyone remembers the late seasons of POf 5 , do you remember if Charlie did eventually get married and who did he marry? I think I have a fuzzy memory of what happened after he didn't marry Kristin.
Someone had mentioned that the flashback of Jack at the altar having a hard time saying "I DO" was reminescent of Matthew Fox's role in Party of 5.
I am wondering if the writers did that on purpose.
If they did, it is really funny.
I still call him "Charlie," too. And to make things less confusing for me, I call Dom "Merry."

aaaaahhh Charlie!
sigh... i absolutlely loved Foxy in that role...
and do y'all remember he did a "got milk" ad when he was doing Po5? i tore that ad off a magazine and posted it on my dresser. Charlie with milk on his lips was the first thing i saw every morning.

Jack is so hot on lost. When he was on Party of Five I thought he was very good looking but now.... damn he is so fine! In all of the characters I have seen him play there is always something about him that I find so attractive and lovable. Think it's his manner altogether. On lost I thought it was odd how they had a Charlie too that wasn't him. Every week on lost he gets hotter and hotter. And awwwwwwwwwww! When he cries you just want to hug him. I love his character because he portrays himself as so strong and as having it all together and under control but he has a vulnerable side too. I can totally relate to his character. I am so glad that they decided not to kill his character in the 1st episode. :rollin
