Wake up! Jack's G-A-Y !!!!

C'mon ! You ladies have to wake up and realize Jack is
G-a-y!

1. Kate has batted her eyelashes 1000 times and Jack hasn't really blinked.

2. There's no freakin' way he would have let Kate be alone with Sawyer if he really loved Kate.

3. The kiss between Kate and Sawyer should have enraged Jack and yet Jack acted as if he were merely disappointed in Kate's actions.

4. Jack's "way to clean" (i.e. watch out for those clean-cut, well-shaven, prep school types) :rollin

5. In the flashback sequence, there was NO WOMAN that Jack leaned on during the most traumatic time of his life - investigating his father's death.

Wake up and smell the coffee. Hang on cuz it's gonna be a bumpy ride! Jack is GAY!

P.S. It's probably what estranged Jack from his "manly man of a father".

Well, I guess I'll put my opinion down just for sake of argument. I don't know whether or not Jack is gay, but here is some feedback on why the reasons you gave aren't enough.

1. Kate's batted her lashes and he hasn't responded. Jack has about 20,000 other things on his mind like taking care of survivors, finding shelter and thinking of their predictament and what they're going to do about it. I think he's a little pre-occupied.

2. Leaving Kate alone with Sawyer. Well, Jack can't possibly be in love with Kate - he's only known her a little over a week. He also isn't about to tell her what she can and can't do. Some women don't take well to be bossed around. Even my own husband wouldn't dream of telling me what's off limits.

3. The kiss: Well, like I said the kiss is really none of Jack's business at this point. They have no commitment.

4. Jack's appearance. I know lots of guys who take care of themselves and most of them are married and I'm pretty sure they're not living a lie.

5. A woman for support. People handle trauma and grief in their own way. He may not be in a relationship at present. Even if he is, there are people that would rather deal with their emotional messes on their own. I'm one of them.

None of these reasons lead me to believe Jack is gay. If he is gay, the reason will be because he simply is.

However, none of the writers have yet ruled out any other castmembers being gay or bi.

:rolleyes Here we go again. I think that the "Jack is gay" threads are beginning to top even the "They're all dead and in purgatory" threads as the most annoying.

I don't know if Jack is gay, and I don't really care that much either way. But as Jack's Girl has said, your reasons are not proof enough that he IS. And let me add some equally circumstantial evidence that might actually indicate that he is NOT:

--He was deeply disturbed when he found out she was the prisoner and might be "dangerous." Yet he protected her secret, not telling anyone, and letting her keep the reason she was wanted to herself.

--He was awfully "touchy-feely" with her when she got that cut on her face (you all know the picture I mean).

--He was very upset when she wouldn't move to the caves with him.

--He was looking at her mugshot when he was alone. And not just for a quick second, either.

--When Kate said that Sawyer "says we have a connection," Jack replied, "Well, DO you?" And his voice cracked, like he was angry or jealous over the idea.

As Jack's Girl said, Jack has enough on his mind right now, so getting involved with Kate is not really appropriate right now. And unless you start seeing Jack making eyes at one of the other guys, I don't think there is enough proof to say that Jack is gay. Can we let the issue go for a while? Please?

I don't know if he's gay or straight, and at this point, I'm not sure that I care either way.

If you want to look in the pro-gay direction though, there's the scene where Kate thinks Jack is checking out her ass, and he's thinking about transporting water. :lol

I agree with what seems like the majority of ya'll by saying I don't mind either way if he is gay or straight, but personaly, I beleive he is straight.

Something for people to think about: Hurley's sexuality.

Well, AVRILFANTOO, I guess that means that since I've been single and unattached for the past few years, I'm a lesbian then. After all, a couple of guys have made noises indicating some interest in my direction and yet, amazement of amazements, I have not jumped at the chance. Never mind of my drooling over Saeed and Sawyer, and assorted others...
