John Locke finally got it right.

He tapped into his long dormant skill of discernment, and he called and won every hand that Ben could muster. He out-maneuvered the maneuverer, every step of the way.

As sad as I am he's gone, it positively curls my toes that he found his destiny.
Every word of dialogue, every nuanced expression, his k.o. of Mikhail - tonight John Locke was THE MAN, on top every moment.

What a great way to go! I loved him, I'll miss him, but by god I hope to go out like him.

If you don't agree, that likely means you're also a Locke fan. At least do him the honor of starting a separate bitterness or ~he's not dead~ thread.

If you agree, join me in a toast

 to John Locke. May he be in heaven a half hour before the devil knows he's gone.

I join you and lift my root beer to him. He was great tonight!

That said, I do NOT believe in any way that he is dead. No way. Mark my words--he'll be back. He's too important to kill off.

In that case, may he flee hell a half-hour before the devil knows he's dead.
Either way,  and more  for his redemption tonight!!

NOT DEAD. But at least I can finally be proud of the guy... The only Lostie to demand answers and not back down.

''Locke will hear two words tonight,'' says Lindelof. ''Those words, and the fact that he hears them, will change his course on the island forever.''

Please let this mean what I hope it means, and that it's not double-speak.
Like the rest of you, I was happy that Locke FINALLY returned to his...oh noes. When someone redeems themselves, they die......BUT! I think he lives to try to help Jacob.
