Nestor Carbonell ("Smokin' Aces," TV's "Suddenly Susan") has joined the cast of Warner Bros. "Batman Begins" sequel "The Dark Knight" according to the trades.

Carbonell, most recently seen in a recurring role as a Dharma initiative manager in TV's "Lost", will play the mayor of Gotham City. It's thought that he'll complete work on the project before joining Jimmy Smits on CBS's new drama series "Cane."

Meanwhile MTV reports that rapper/actor David Banner ("Black Snake Moan") auditioned this week for a role in the film which he describes as a villain named 'Gamble,' odd considering there is no such villain in the comic's long history.Previous Article Related News Submit a Scoop

Maybe already discussed today. CBS released their fall lineup, and one of the new shows is starring Jimmy Smits and Nestor Carbonell (Richard)! Does this mean we'll be losing the ageless wonder?

Nestor and Matthew Fox were in a movie I was watching on DVD last night. Nestor had a fairly big part and Matthew Fox had some screen time (well enough to talk to Nestor and die). It was called Smokin' Aces. What a surprise to see those two!

I think now that Cane was canceled, read it online, I hope they will bring him back as overspermiatedsexay Richard. I'm surprised we havent seen a big thing being made of birth control on the island being woman die as a result of pregnancy. Surely with the 5xs sperm they must have sex of some kind, unless they are all on some anti- horny pill.

I just saw The Dark Knight. I heard a lot of hype about it, but didn't really get into much of it before PapaBear took me.

So when I saw Nestor Carbonell (Richard Eyeliner) I just gasp and pointed! :lmao: I didn't expect him.
