JACK = Jacob?!

Did anyone notice that Jack looked a lot like Jacob with the beard?

In fact, when he was in the car, you could see the pronounced bumb on his nose ... which really makes me wonder.

Everyone has been saying it looks like Christian Shepherd. An older Jack would probably look a lot like his father.

Same person? I have no idea and can't prove it at all. Just some speculation I heard, but I can certainly see a resemblance.

Yeah, I gotta agree. That resemblence really is amazing, I think it's him.

Which IMO is disappointing, because it means what we saw in the cabin wasn't really Jacob at all, since I hardly think they're going to cast their property master in the role permanently.

I agree about the resemblance, and they definitely wouldn't cast a crew member as Jacob. And, they should know by now we'd go to this length to figure out who was Jacob's stand-in. :rolleyez:

It still allows them to come back and put a "real" face to Jacob. Someone we'd know. I'm still holding out for an original member of the "Black Rock". Shiver me tembers! :nanabobo:

Jacob was visible for a split-second during that scene in S3E20 when Ben and Locke were in his cabin.

to me, Jacob looks like an older version of Locke. a co-worker agrees. doesn't Jack with his beard look more like an audience member at a 1970's concert for the Doors or CSNY?
