Did Naomi herself ever lie and say she was sent by Penny? Or was that simply the assumption made b/c of finding the pic of Penny & Desmond?
IOW - was Naomi willingly lying or was she a "patsy?"
Back when she was 1st found - and she said something in a foreign language to Michael, someone online translated her as saying "I am not alone" are we to assume she simply meant the boat she came from - or that someone else had actually landed on the island with her?

I believe she did in the episode where Sayid questioned her. I believe the episode was "catch-22"
