So why do you think TPTB wanted michael in the finale?

I have a feeling noone looks in here, but I'm sure it will get moved here if I post elsewhere.

Anyway, the producers tried getting michael for the finale. any guesses as to why?

I'm not the biggest Michael fan in the world, but I think they may have intended to use him and/or Walt as the subject of their flashforward rather than Jack and Kate. I'm sure we'll hear more about it in the future if/when they try to bring him back again.

My guess atm is that they wanted to reveal michael inside the casket for jack. And maybe that's why Harold didn't come to an agreement. But it could be anything. I'd personally like closure on their story, but michael doens't need to be on film for that to occur.
