this thread is to give vonnegut and island_maverick a place to verbally copulate fight WITHOUT threadjacking EVERY thread in lostaways and GD.
I plan on colledting some of the best "fightin" words between the two.

I thought I would take this opportunity to discuss yung's theory about homoplamsates. I believe that when you combine the aspect ratio of a standard nanobot with the number homoplasmates needed to quantify the the entire composition of Smokey that there must be another driving force behind it.
Thirdly, the fact that Locke didn't die when Ben shot him is further proof that the healing powers of Smokey's homoplasmates could not possibly be nanobots.

vonn is a (classic Cluster B) drama queen... and I've never seen mav cry.
vonn drinks cheap American beer out of a can... mav likes a pint of lager down at the local.
vonn sounds like Clarice Starling... mav sounds like Liam Gallagher.
In spite of mav's shortcomings (Sheffield Wednesday? Puh-lease...), I think the choice is obvious.

If the purpose of the board is to emasculate a moderator for all to see. Have at it. I don't recommend it.
What may appear as witty banter to some is, in my opinion, an attempt by one person to dominate someone else that they know they can dominate and manipulate. Purposely doing so in front of everyone, for all too see.

The Brits are great with their legs, but they just don't quite know how to use their arms properly. They tend to flail about in their motions somewhat. Take cricket, for instance...
So if it is to be a boxing style smackdown, I take vonne. But if legs are required, ala UCF, mav may gain a slight edge.
Of course, if it is intellectual in nature, let the reparte begin.

Generally we tend to advise against 'look at me' threads or personal blogs - or in this case - a likely one-sided verbal jostle between a moderately pompous English moderator and a beer-can-friendly Ben fan.
As fun as it could be to let this run, and some of the posts in here have been hilarious, I think we'd better lock it up 'cos:
a) Suil would probably pan-fry me and serve me up for breakfast if I didn't
b) some may take offence at, or misunderstand the humour of the thread
c) who wants to see vonne lose such a one-sided contest? :D
