Okay, now I'm starting a thread!

This is probably the funniest musical I've ever seen. A was fortunate enough to see it with the entire original cast (John Lithgow, Norbert Leo Butz, and Sherie Rene Scott). It's the only show I've ever been to where the audience gave a standing ovation in the middle of one of the musical numbers. John Lithgow and Norbert Leo Butz had to break out of character for a second to get everyone to sit down.

Anyone else seen this?

I am sorry to say no I haven't seen this. My friend raved about Norbert Leo Butz in this, and I wish I'd caught it.

He was so incredible! He and John Lithgow were hilarious together.

I would love to see it again, but I don't know if I would enjoy it without the original cast. I can't imagine anyone else singing the songs besides Norbert Leo Butz.

I would have loved to see this. I love Yazbek's work, and of course NLB is fabulous in everything, so...

I'd love to be able to do this show, too. And it sounds like a laugh trip and a half.

One of my directors got to see the last show (or clips on YouTube, I'm not sure anymore) and it made him/her cry.
