I loved this show. Bob Martin as Man in Chair was HYSTERICAL!! I never imagined I would laugh so hard at one person alone onstage eating a PowerBar. :rotfl: I wish there was more of his stuff on the cast recording.

Another funny thing is that each of his bits that are on the recording are a separate track from the song they introduce, so when I have my iPod on shuffle, I'll get 20 seconds of him talking about Beatrice Stockwell's rousing anthems, but instead of it going right to "As We Stumble Along" I'll get something from Sunday in the Park with George or Assassins.

I just had a fun time at this show. So entertaining, and you go out smiling. I love a deep, heavy show as well, don't get me wrong, but this one was just fun.

Oh monkey, monkey, monkey... :D

I have the cast recording, and it definitely sounds like a fun show... and naturally, I love Sutton Foster's songs. ;) But I wasn't "wowed" by it, and I fear it's definitely a show that needs to be watched and not just listened to. (Like "Cold Feets." Listening to tap is definitely not watching a tap dance number.)

My friend who did get to see it swears it's awesome, though, and I don't doubt it. The little I've seen and heard are amazing, and it'd be nice to watch more of it.

The monkey song is awesome. ;)

Oh monkey, monkey, monkey... :DIs Bob Martin the one that looks like Ryan Stiles? If it is, I saw him his last week in that role before he went to perform the same role in London (last March)...he was AWESOME!:D

Facially he does look a little like Ryan Stiles, but he has curly hair.

A limited engagement of this show has just come to Philly, but tickets are impossible to get, supposedly, and they're ridiculously expensive. :(

I, for one, am curious to see it with Bob Saget.
