Who's gonna win?

The fight is probably the biggest non-heavyweight fight ever, between two of the greatest boxers of their generation (if not ever).

I think Hatton is gonna do it. Mayweather talks too much

Ladbrokes give the odds as:

Mayweather 8/15
Hatton 6/4
Draw 18/1

I'm not a boxing fan, so when I originally saw this poll I thought, "tsk, tsk, another political poll to be closed".

Ricky Hatton.

Hatton all the way, he looks the more hungry.

Hatton will be a shoe-in for "Sports Personality of the Year" if he wins. I just hope he doesn't get stopped on cuts

Hatton. He's been on a mission for years. He's hungry for it and very business-like in his preparation. And he's real rugged fighter.

Either way, it's gonna be a humdinger. For the first time in long while I am actually considering buying a fight on pay per view.

eta: yeah, agreed KOS. His cut problem could be his achilles heel, if that's not too much of a mixed metaphore.

Yeah, I'll probably buy it too. Although the estimated kick-off time is something like 4:00am.

I think the last one I bought was a Nassem Hamed fight about 10 years ago. I think he won with a 1st round KO

Wow, The Prince. I actually didn't go to a Halloween party about 10 years ago because he was fighting on HBO that Halloween night. He is responsible for my passionate boxing following, not because I liked him but because I vehemently despised him.

Yeah, he had that affect on a few people. We had to like him though, he was representing Britain.

I'm not sure if you know Crandy, but he got put away for nearly killing someone in a traffic accident a couple of years ago. When he was released, rather than sneak out humbly with his head down, his entourage turned up in a cavalcade of flashy cars to welcome his release. Really respectful to the guy whose life he ruined

Win: Ricky Hatton in the 3rd Round, three kidney punches too many. Fingers crossed.

Damn. Hatton blew it. Well, to be fair, he was never in the fight. Mayweather played it perfectly. Deserved victory.

You voted a day after the fight, and still got it wrong? Wow. That's uh...that's pretty special right there.

I'm just a special girl.

My mom always told me never to let the other kids make fun of me just because I rode the short bus to school.

Man. I'm really gutted for Hatton. It wouldn't have been half as bad if he had lost on points instead of getting KO'd.

Mayweather will be insufferable now.

Good on him for having a go, how about a rematch in Manchester?

Dangit! I saw this post a few days ago but I was busy doing something else and didn't vote.

Mayweather is the hometown hero. He's from Grand Rapids.

Ye who doubt Mayweather shall suffer under the weight of his ego!

I wish I would have seen this poll before the fight. I've been a Mayweather fan for awhile now. Even though his arrogance is a bit over the top, his speed is astounding.

Congrats to him for a brilliant fight.

I was busy watching the Roger Huerta/Clay Guida fighting instead. That was just great.

No chance. That would be nice, but Mayweather will never fight outside the US.
