The Issue of Watches

My apologies if this has already been discussed, but I think I might have spotted something that ties Jack's family to the island.

In the last episode of Season 3, after Ben shoots Locke and leaves him for dead, he goes back to camp and informs the others that they're moving out sooner than planned. When Ben speaks to Richard Alpert, I noticed that they have identical watches. Since everything happens for a reaon on Lost, it made me think back to a mobisode called "The Watch," in which we flashback to the night before Jack's marriage to Sarah. In it, Christian gifts Jack a watch that I SWEAR is precisely the same as Ben's and Richard's! Christian says he has never worn the watch, but that it was given to him by his father.

Anyway, hi jessabelle. Firstly, this is not a theory - it's just a possible observation (i.e. if you were to have a theory about why the watches were the same..). Secondly, anything that is not aired directly on the show mainstream is considered 'spoilerish' by this Forum's guidelines, meaning I'll have to move this thread to a more suitable area.

All I have to do now is find it... brb.

Absolutely great connection jessabelle!! I am going to verify this afternoon. But that would be really interesting even if its just coincidental. However, it does push the whole time theory.....

By the way, I have been on this forum for years and if the mobisodes are spoilerish, I am losing faith in this communitee.
