Hmm, interesting. Maybe that's why I like this guy. :)

He's no Charlie (they can't replace original characters they've trashed so easily), but I think it might be his vulnerability and overall awkwardness that is reminiscent of Charlie.

Can't say I necessarily want to join the club, either, but out of the new characters, I'd say Daniel was a keeper (to me, he's the only one who seems remotely likable or sympathetic as of yet).

He's the character I remembered most in Saving Private Ryan.

I love the name of this club and am eager to join, but as much as I love his character in Lost (a walking answer book for the show) and as much as I loved his acting in Saving Private Ryan... I still can't forgive his character for letting his fellow brother-in-arms get stabbed to death while he just sat there against the wall crying. He did show a little ballz by shooting the prisoner at the end, but it turns out if he hadn't pleaded with Tom Hanks character to let him go, then Tom Hanks character would have still been alive. He single handedly got two of his men killed! That movie was such an awesome movie, i remember basically screaming at the screen for him to wipe away his tears, man-up and go and save his friend who was getting stabbed by the German soldier (what an intense scene!).

Anyways, strictly as a Lost fan and based on his character on the show... I won't mind making A.D.O.R.K.A.B.L.E. my 2nd or 3rd home around here.


By the way, perfect name for his club Lostaway... For someone who claims to not be so good at these things, I think you did a pretty darn good job!

If you didn't watch "The Other Woman" frame by frame, you likely missed it. I only caught it because I was waiting for the stuff that Daniel was entering on The Tempest computer and thought, "What the hell is that?" Turns out it was the sat phone.

Are you talking about the girl in the pseudo-coma? I'm a little confused about Daniel's background... people on the board seem to know a lot more than I, so apparently I need to go back and re-watch some of season 4 episodes. My guess right now though is that Daniel got into this whole island-mess thing at least partly to try and save her.
