View Full Version : Dan's weirdness
What do you think is the reason for his oddness? Do you think it is a side effect of lost time, possibly caused from Des turning the key in the hatch? Could he be brain damaged? Does he have a social disorder? Or could it be all an act like Charlotte's little gig in 4x02 before Ben caught her out?
What's your predictions?

I think he's just a very smart, and very socially awkward man. I'll admit this doesn't explain his random crying at the start of the previous episode, but it explains why he's so... jittery and nervous around people.
The pop-ups from on the rerun of last week's show said the women with
him was his caretaker. Why would he need a caretaker? Physical illness?
Emotional problems related to 815 crash? Maybe they will tell us on next
weeks pop-ups.

Other than the crying at the beginning of Ep 2, he's acted like half the professors I've known in college: book smart yet socially awkward.

Hm, well Naomi did say he was a headcase. He must really be one to have a caretaker.
I think he's like a lot of extremely intelligent people, socially awkward and introverted, not good at expressing himself and possibly mentally unstable (nervous breakdown maybe ?) due to the fact that he knows what happened to F815, and what is actually going on, and was maybe in someway responsible for it.
I actually like him - I hope Kate never gets to mess with him - then he will be a basket case !
