This isn't an internet game, but a real-life game you can play. It spawns from a dream I had, as well as the Season 3 DVD special Feature "Throwing From the Handle," with Terry O'Quinn.
One night, I had a dream. I dreamed that my fiancee and I were on a trip to the mountains, and we rented a cabin. One day, to our surprise, we bumped into Terry O'Quinn and discovered he had rented the cabin next door. Talking to him, I got embarrassed because I'd keep calling him "Locke" by accident. Terry waved away my apologies, and invited me to play a game with him. A knife-throwing contest, to see which one of us was better. I asked him what the game was called. Terry paused, gave me a sheepish look, and said... "The Locke Game."
Well, now we can all play The Locke Game! Terry shows us how:

Rules:
1. 2 players.
2. Find a dead tree or other suitable target.
3. You agree on a minimum distance you must stand from from target.
4. Your opponent pins a dollar to the target.
5. You have 5 tries to stick a knife into the dollar from behind the line.
6. Succeed, and you keep his dollar.
7. After five tries, switch. You pin up a dollar, and he has 5 tries.
8. Whoever ends up with the most dollars, wins! :)

I have finally uploaded my first video ever to youtube!
I've been teaching my brothers how to throw knives. Alex is getting pretty good! I filmed him throwing my Tigershark at these logs:

It's hard to hear what Alex is saying, but it's "...and then open him up like a Christmas present!" lol. I'm guessing he watched "The Hunted" one too many times. ;)

So.........thats where Locke gets the dollar that he gives to Ben to start his 3.2 million dollars with.:) Looks like a cool game sgt. I'll try to talk the wife into playing next time we go camping.

Looks fun but I might use pieces of cloth or something instead of dollars...it looked like it ripped the one Terry had in half...:D

I like to use play money. The trick is finding some that is the right size.
Wow! Cool idea Sarge!!
Although, I don't know if my 119 is the right kind of knife for this sort of thing lol...

Oh, heck no! Your 119 is a very nice knife, but it is simply not designed for this kind of thing. Too handle-heavy. And your pretty handle would get pretty trashed in fairly short order.
If you want to play, I would get either some cheap throwing knives (bigger the better), or invest in a knife that is designed to take this kind of punishment, like the SOG series, or some of the knives Badger has mentioned. Mainly you want a full tang knife with a thick blade (1/4-inch is good), a broad point (too fine could snap off) and a handle that won't crack or break from repeated handle-hits (I recommend zytel). BoarHunter is actually making his own Master Bowie-style throwing knife!
Or you can throw something especially cheap, like screwdrivers.

Well, I tried a variant of this game called The Charlie Game. It's the same game really except instead of a dollar you pin a bag of heroin to the tree.
Unfortunately, this game doesn't work well because when you hit the bag of heroin with the knife, it spills out all over the tree and the ground and into the wind.

I thought "The Charlie Game" was where one player steals "the baby" (best to use a doll), and the other player chases him down and tries to punch his lights out, without the baby dropping on the ground.

I got another response from Terry O'Quinn at his forum on The Fuselage:

This one is about knife throwing, so I figured this would be the best spot for it.
Hey Terry, good to see you posting again.
I was wondering if you still regularly throw knives as a hobby. It's a pass-time I enjoy myself. I know you favor the handle throw, as do I. How many rotations are you comfortable with? What do you think your stick percentage is? Favorite knife to throw?
Are there any particular knife throwing games you like to play?
I don't get to practice very often, so currently I'm still a one-rotation guy, and I can only stick it around 50% of the time.
I use the SOG Tigershark, Sgt. It's a heavy knife and hits very harrd. I generally start at one rotation and the move on to two. Once I'm warmed up I can hit about 90 % accurate to about 6-10 inches from center for either distance (11 ft per rotation). If I'm feelin' good I'll go for three rotations and hit about 50% of those..............with a good bit less accuracy, of course.
The nice thing about the SOG knives is that they'll take a beating, and they're very stiff.
Thanks,
T
So, yes, it looks like Terry would totally kick my ass at The Locke Game. :)

Wow, that's awesome draino. As much as Locke annoys me, TOQ is such a great actor.
Check this guy out, he's like Locke only with a gun:
