So how come Jack didn't listen when she said Naomi may have left a false trail, more importantly how come Danielle is letting Jack make the decisions?

Where did Kate learn how to track?

Kate says she learned how to track from going into the woods with her father, who was stationed at Ft. Lewis, as a child.

Yea, what is up with kate, we know she would go hunting with her father when she was a kid but given her skills you would think she was a full blooded Sioux indian tracker.

Well, I think she's gotten a lot better in the 100 days she's been covering her tracks on the island.

Since when is Danielle a hunter? She is a scientist..obviously I'm sure she's done her share of hunting for the 16 yrs she's be on the island, but it doesn't mean she's an expert tracker..the Others never left tracks, remember?

Because Jack NEVER listens. Or asks the right questions. Or follows up on questions. Or think clearly.
