We finally get to see a hurley centered show so don't get discouraged! The 18th episode is supposed to be his flashback, and i believe we just saw the 12th, whatever the case may be. So we just have to wait a little bit longer....

I am a little worried about what his back story. Most of the flashbacks so far have had some sort of shocking elements about them. Since Hurly is one of the most liked characters on the show I can't help but wonder what might be shocking in his past. I hope its not anything to dark.

Locke's wasn't really that dark and most of the shockers/back stories have fit with the characters. Shannon's did surprise me, but I wasn't taken aback by the others. Since Hurley is comical, I'm betting his back story will be more lighthearted than the rest.

I sure hope so, since it'd be hard to imagine life being too, too horrible for a guy like him. But I'm just wondering if maybe he DID have it rough, possibly because of his size. You know, since larger human beings don't exactly have the best times in society, a lot of the time. *shrug* Just a thought.

I keep saying how much I LOVE Hurley on other threads, I suppose I ought to profess my undying love for the dude. He just cracks me up, has the BEST lines of the WHOLE show. He was a guest on Jimmy Kimmel the other night and seems like a down-to-earth, nice kinda dude. I hate it when he's only on the show for like one or two scenes. I like Hurley - he seems like a big ol' teddy bear. That said, I hope he gets a great back story - I'll be disappointed if his "secret past" is something sweet and fluffy. Give us something juicy! I would love to see a fabulous surprising Hurley episode.

I love this guy. Besides Charlie I like him. It goes to show you large size actors can make it in television. He is one of the most popular characters. And i saw him at the Golden Globes and he looked so good in his tux. Don't know about the hair though.

Hurley rocks. He is my fav. It's good to see some of us large sized people on the screen. He is so down to earth and seems so "real". I've had the same hair style as him for the last 7 years.
