The Few, The Proud, The BANNED

Just poking through a few old threads and came across some names that I hadn't seen in a while. One was BANNED and I don't remember why.

If the Mods see fit, we can reminisce about the folks who stepped outta line a few too many times. Could we maybe discuss the terms of their ban?

For starters, what happened with Phantom Phase? He was an alright poster...hey, he likes The Shield. Looks like he got bitchslapped on my birthday 2006. Anyone care to shed some light on that?

I also noticed profiles for the BANNED are kept seemingly forever. Maybe, when banning someone, a Mod could edit their Public Profile and give a reason for the Banishment, like BANNED FOR PROFANITY in big red letters, for instance. BANNED FOR STALKING, BANNED FOR BEING AN IDIOT. The possibilities are endless. And it provides some information to the community after-the-fact.

Soory, Scroot, but our policy is to never discuss specific bannings with the members, and this is never going to change. One reason is, well, you know when someone runs onto the field at a ball game the cameras don't show them? They don't want to encourage others to follow suit. It's pretty much the same thing here.

We can mention generalities about banning, though, and whenever an established member has gotten banned it generally is because we have given them so much rope that they were able to tie a full 13-loop hangman's noose with macrame embellishments, loop it over the rafter 20 times and still have enough left over to hog-tie themselves before kicking out the chair.

So one thing I want to know...How come nobody asks why PandoraX got banned? It's not like she was trolling the place. She just didn't bother telling anyone that she was awaiting sentencing for attempted murder.
