This a place for posters and lurkers to let those on the forum who have, encouraged, made laugh, supported, guided, made comfortable, helped, inspired or in any way touched thier lives, know what they've done.

Many of us chat with each other by email or PM's, but many have made a contribution to our lives in various ways without that poster knowing that they lifted our spirits, brightened our day or made us think in some way.

It's also a place to publicly thank the friends we've made here and tell them how much we appreciate meeting and knowing them.

Some of us may only know a poster by thier posts and do not feel comfortable PMing them about something they said that touched us, this is the place to let them know.

Of course I am here on behalf of the sweetest kindest lady in the forum and here is a hint:nanabobo: DogMa! She never ceases to amaze me. I was attracted to her wit. She could pull a rabbit out of an egg shell on a moments notice. I was shy and easily hurt when I first came to this forum; then I found; What Do You See. A stress releaser for me. I need lots of laughter in my life; she's a wonderful provider of laughter.

DogMa's the member I talk to the most. I am blessed to have become friends with her. She's very smart, but she does not ward it over anyone. Sometimes she comes to my level and gets DUH with me. That's nice. She's a very hard worker; she pulls double shifts working with patients and she loves her work even though it tires her out sometimes.:tears2: Lurve ya girl.

She puts up alot with me and she taught be loads of stuff about getting around the forum, linking threads, graphics, etc etc. She encouraged me to start photo chopping. DogMa is nice to everyone and respects other ideas.

Khan you too have encouraged me. When I was getting beat up because I didn't like Jack; I came to S.M.A.C.K.J.A.C.K. a few times.WoW-zers was that ever nice!!! Now I wave my Jack list proudly.

I appreciate many people here who do not know that I do. I think you can tell alot about people by what they say when they post.

I guess I'll give my standard Warty shout-out. I always appreciated the way he used to debunk theories, especially at EZboard.

I also should give props to lostpigeon. The guy has taken a respectable amount of gruff over the last few years by some people that don't "get" him, don't like him, or both. Not ONCE have I ever seen him get drawn into bickering and not ONCE has the guy disrespected me. All factors considered, I would honestly consider LP to be one of the few members that actually has a driving influence on this board.

Naturally I must throw vonnegut's name in the mix. After all, she gets special treatment and this is just one of the contract requirements that was agreed to by the arbiter. Honestly though, even though she can be a bitch, her contributions shouldn't be overlooked. Hell, I am pissed off at her every other day yet I respect the hell out of her abilities. Then again, I really only like her for her very large, very robust, very noticeable post count.

There are MANY more people that I love and adore on here but these are just a few people that I can undoubtedly say have impacted me in a particular way.

Oh, and I honestly think that Zia and Noav are the two nicest people on the face of the planet.

There are many people around here that I think are awesome, but first and foremost are my very first friends on here: The Watcher, Airlybird and UKLostie. They've been friends in every sense of the word for 2 years and I love them all. Then later along came The Life of Riley...she's also my friend, but I MISS YOU GIRL!!!!

Some others that spring to mind are:

Dogma...the wittiness and the ability to just crack me up!
Sals...again, the wittiness and you just make me laugh.
Wickedsweet...a partner in crime.
Island Maverick....well, he's just hawtness.
Maestra
Darth Kitty
Azteclady
Gertie
Khan...wise beyond your years and you just tell it like it is!
Warty...I tend to stalk him just because he makes me laugh
Locke Push-Ups...funny and clever
Ranger Mel
RoseArienh
SoL...my favorite landscaper.
Blackhawk...miss you so much...please come back!!!!

There are more, but it's hard to think right now and I don't want to leave anyone out, so I'll add as I can.

Frecklestoo, Airlybird, TheWatcher, The Life of Riley (miss you, come back soon) and Gertie.

You guys are my rock, there is nowhere I would rather be than here hanging out with you guys. I love you all.

But I gotta give extra special love to my forum sistah's Frecks and Airly. If it wasn't for you two I wouldn't have found the strength to turn my life around...I love you both very much, you will always have a special place in my heart.:awwhug:

Ahhh what a nice thread! :)
So many nice peeps I could mention. Boonian Androphile got me on the forum, but I've known him from before. So I don't need to thank him on here.
~His posting has been sorely missed here.~

I've chatted & razzed (good naturedly) - Cats drool & dogs rule! :nanabobo:- with my feline counterparts - Khan & Big Cat. I've discussed movies with TCS & others. I've been aided by and chatted with lotsa MAUDES - Brian, TBC(slight return), Master Xander, JG, LIW, Cindybop(fellow Buffy fan + movie & TV confo 'partner in crime') & more. I don't know if I can start listing names, since so many people here brighten my day on a regular basis. I'm not going to make that list, because I know I'll leave off someone. If you've made me smile or laugh here, you know it, and I thank you. :)

There is a short list of people who have supported me and been a true friend when life's tossed lemons my way. You know who you are. I thank you. :awwhug:

Steven / Sswim12 - Ever since the minute we both signed up here, we've both been awesome friends to each other. You're like a brother to me now, man, and for your friendship I simply thank you. You are completely awesome.

Larry - Just damn. I wouldn't be where I am today if not for you. I owe you everything. You're amazing.

Kelly - Yes, I love you. No matter how much I swear at you and get frustrated at you, I do.

Dan - I am so happy to be talking to you right now. Damn, I miss you, you need to get online more often. You are a sound guy, man.

Rocky - Ok so at first I hated your guts. Everyone knew that. Now no one can make me laugh like you can. No one, even when I'm down in the dumps, can bring me right back up into a happy place. Plus you are sincere and helpful. But I won't ruin your public image anymore.

Doo - Quite possibily the nicest guy ever. Always sincere, always cheery, an awesome friend.

I can't go on like this all night, back later!

Thank you for this thread, Khan. I think it's a wonderful and long overdue idea.

Moving to our General Community Discussion forum.

You're welcome scotpgot. The idea has been in my head for some time after reading so many posts by people who miss those who have left, are thankful for those who stood by them in some way, newbs who say how much they enjoyed this or that person's post, etc.

It's really a community here for many of us and as in our offline lives we too often forget to at least give a nod to those who brought something good to us, even if it's just a smile.

well, i guess i can throw out a few names.

first and foremost, Island Maverick. IMO one of the best mods this forum has ever seen, always willing to go the extra mile for people. I owe ya one, Mark.

Goddess, Tell, Tute, LV, Prender, Cupcake, Marshall (needs to post more), vince, gertie, and the rest of the oasis crew (so hard to remember all the people)

And there's Tater. Anytime I am in need of a good debate, I turn to Tater...

nuff said.

And what would a thread like this be without an ego stroke for Vonne... the smartest redneck on the planet.

(wait, is that an oxy moron?)

There's been a lot of people who have helped me out during my time here.

'Stoon- Because you're always there to listen.
Echo- Because you always have me rolling on the ground laughing.
Ellio- Because you care, and I will always have a weakspot for you. Even though we fight daily. You've become a close friend. I just wish you'd post more and in places like General discussion. :p
Hawkie- Because you're basicly awesome and light-hearted all the time.
Scott- Because you're the most intelligent teenager ever.
Budman Because you encourage me to do better or worse, (I never know which) Even though you frustrate me a little. :p
Vonne- Because you're intelligent, smart and supportive. Even though short-tempered with me at the best of times.
LIHE- Interesting enough. Funny too, but the type of funny that gets on my nerves.
Crandy You understand what all red-heads think. Especially my Stupid Irish teacher. :p
Scotpgot- Because you gave me advice in how to keep calm and relaxed when I'm angry.
Mattie- TAKE YOUR FOUUUULLL MIST! Awfully funny. Everytime you're in chat with Rocky and LIHE, It's unhealthy. My lung almost collapsed one night.
Lostpigeon- You're decent and funny. It's people like you that make the world spin around.
Brian- Because I know I pee you off, and you've always been patient. Plus you're always interesting to talk to, the rare time I see you in chat.
Tell- We share mostly the same views on issues. Interesting to talk to and listen to.
TBC- Because I get on your nerves, and do stupid mistakes. But from what I've seen, you don't hold grudges. Hopefully :p
Maestra- Because you're forgiven me more than I've deserved. You're easy to talk to. (Sorry I made you kill Percy)
ILE- because even though you say you're shy. I don't believe it. You're fun to talk to.
T-Man- Because no one loves Claire as much as me and you. You always have an essay to type in CLASSY, and I enjoy reading.
Rocky Raccoon- Because you're evil. So evil it's humorous to watch every word you type. But... you're not that evil. :p

I'm not good at these things. Giving compliments isn't really my thing, so all of you mean much more than what I've said. :)

And...if I can think of more to write I will. You've all been great :D :D :D

well... there are only a handful of people here who i know personally, a few who i talk to thru pm's, and one incredibly special person who i'm so very thankful for :awwhug:..
and they all know who they are, or at least, they should.
anyone in doubt, just ask. ;)

anyway, being here for a little over a year now, reading ALL of yall's postings, waaay into the wee hours of the morning, i feel like i know so many of you... most of whom have no freakin' clue who i am. :p

but... i always come here when i need to de-stress, muddle my way thru all the Lost theories my twisted brain can handle, or if i just wanna good laugh, i know all the places to go.

so, i'm basically just thankful for this place in general and everyone who posts here. :)

And I second that.

Y'all are a bunch of great people. Most of the time I'm just sitting here reading (mostly because I'm lacking the English skills to fully participate in everything that's going on here), but even just reading here brightens my day. So thanks to all the people who post here. Past, present and future. Way to go!

There are many, many people here who have made a positive impression on me for a variety of reasons. If I have PM'd, chatted, emailed, yahoo'd with you, chances are pretty good you already know how I feel.

I do want to mention one person who may not know.

Khan, I wish I had one tenth of your guts and conviction. I am not joking when I say that there have been times in my offline life when I have paused and thought, "What would Khan do?" WWKD. :D Anyway, you are an inspiring example to others of the beauty of a powerful woman. Thank you.

I refuse to name names because I will forget someone.

There are however many people who either have my respect, adoration, and/or lust. Very few people have ever made my asshat list.

I can only hope those people know who they are, but if anyone is uncertain they can feel free to PM me and I will tell them honestly which category they fit into.

I have basically broken everyone down into one or more of 5 possible categories which I refer to as Wartygories.

Wartygories.
1. Respect
2. Adore
3. Lust
4. Ignore
5. Asshat

There's one more category, but I didn't mention it. That list is fear. The only one on the fear list is Khan, although she is also listed under 3 other Wartygories.

Well, it's hard to keep track of all you awesome folken.

So, I've taken the liberty of breaking you all down into 4 categories, or Rockygo-

Wait..

Alright, I'll do the bolding name + blurb thing. Classy.

Scott: My rock. At first, you hated my guts. Everyone knew that (except me! Like WTF, Jackass). And I'll admit, there were times when I wanted to punch your little Scottish face a new haggis-hole. But even so, you've grown on me, like cancer of the heart. We even collaborated to create our mental love child, E.P.I.C. F.A.I.L. We've had some times, shared some laughs, and I'm the better for having talked to you.

vonnegut: My rock. With every insult you throw at me, I find myself trying to improve. Your motivational skills are second to none, and you can somehow force me to better myself. Plus, it's fun to talk at you in chat. Really, though, you're someone I can turn to when I need a thorough reality check, or my ass handed to me on a silver platter of shame and humiliation.

Lost In His Eyes: My rock. The original gangster (and g00mba). You were a good friend since I joined, and have always (I use the term always loosely) been friendly, and supportive as one can hope for. You've even sat through all my evilness and tomfoolery, and come out of it the same lovely person as before. That takes skill. Plus, we've had some mighty... fun ...times together.

And now, for the less important people who would be sad if I didn't give them a shout-out:

I'd like to thank all the posters who are easily offended. You guys make my job a lot easier.

I'd also like to thank all the American/Canadian posters who misspell words like "colour" and for the way you pronounce words like "aluminium". It makes me laugh.

Lastly, I'd like to thank all the spammers who have posted here. You've constantly kept me informed of the prices of the latest mobile phones and iPods. Valuable information at no cost.

I'd like to thank all the people who taunt the mods into banning them by posting purgratory-worthy threads. That forum is one of the most entertaining ones around. I would appreciate a heads-up when y'all are about to post something obnoxious so I can throw my two cents in before it gets locked. I get a sick, twisted thrill out of these things.

Ok. I've given this some thought, and I think I'm ready. But like everyone else, I'm quite sure I will leave someone out.

I guess I should also mention up front that this is a personal list, and in no way reflects the views of the administration.

When I first started posting regularly, it was in the BBR. It was there that I was welcomed, and generally taught the ins and outs of the forum. I learned quickly, but mainly because of the quality of the teachers. And so I thank Maestra, foxxie, ozchick, Vee, aggiesean, ILoveEko, blondiejam, Iggy the Lizard, RoseArienh (and others I'm sure I've forgotten). I know they are not the original crew, but they are the ones that took care of me when I got there.

After that it all kind of happened at once. I was invited to get involved with the C&CD walkthroughs and through that met Hodge, clayseason1, and ozanna (I already knew Rose). "Committed" does not due justice to these people's level of dedication to that part of the board, or to the board as a whole. I was impressed and awed, and quickly did absolutely nothing. :rotfl: Sorry. :(

And so I applied to be a "chat mod". Figuring since I had applied for the job, I should probably start going to chat. This is where I met so many of the chat regulars: LIHE, Dusk Aria, leia, ZIA, CLUCK, Tater, Doo, Lostaway, ALRS, and many, many more. I thank them all for welcoming me. For those who think chat moves too quickly or that you'll never catch on to whatever language it is they use in there - you should give it a shot. It's worth it.

And so despite all conventional wisdom, I joined the folks in blue. Over the last few months, it has been an honor and a priviledge to meet every single one of them and start to get to know them on a personal level. To become a mod here takes a certain level of passion and dedication for the board, for Lost, and in almost every case - for at LEAST one other area of the forum. Each and every one cares deeply for both the forum and its posters. The more time I spend with them, the more I accept this as an unquestionable Truth. Once again I am a student - learning at the feet of the masters.

Just a few more special mentions, then I'm done. :D

Budman, vonnegut, Rocky Raccoon, Crandyman - The thought of mentioning you four in the same sentence giving you each a conniption amuses me more than you can possibly know. Your intelligence never fails to impress me, and neither does your intolerance for bull<snip>. When I need an honest answer, it's you fine folks that I come to. I feel proud to consider you peers as well as friends.

clayseason1, Fancy Monkey - I worked with you both on the Murder Mystery Theatre. And every single day I felt I was in the presence of genius. And not only genius, but genius with incredible work ethic. It was the most intimidating experience I've ever had on the forum, and I wouldn't trade it for anything.

Warty and Neill - It may seem odd, but I think I feel I have the most in common with you two as anyone else. Not only for sheer mental agility, but sense of humor, and closeness in character of soul. Were I to give an award for "most-rounded and personal favorite". It would be for you two. I think we three share a fondness for telling jokes that no one else gets. (But I could be wrong.)

lostpigeon - About once a month, I stare at your sig, where you say it's all a lie. I ponder deeply for about ten minutes, then move on. You have moments of brilliance to be sure, but just as sure they are mixed with many moments of surfacy ignorance. What, and who, you are, I will probably never know. But I will always pursue those answers.

Finally (whew! I know! Who knew I could go on so long?), the regulars of the Music Forum (have I mentioned we have a Music Forum). This is the first chance I've gotten to lay hands on something basically from conception. Those who have taken an interest in there, and whom I see on a daily basis, I feel like we are fast-becoming familiar. It is a wonderful feeling, and hope that as that section grows, the community that I have found there that share general interests will stay as close as they are today.

My list is nowhere near finished but I wanted to at least start the thing.

To those I've chatted with by PM or email, and you know who you are, thank you. It's been a deep pleasure knowing and sharing with you. I hope you know if you need me just yell . I won't say your names, because frankly there are few here who might use your friendship with me against you. I wish I could but it's best I don't. Stupid, but a reality. Trust me.

Wickedsweet, you've been my long time forum friend, that's already known, but you're also one of the wittiest, brightest, most charming posters here.

To the Mods, I won't name you either, but you know who you are too. Thanks for the help, support and God knows the patience. I also thank you for the invitation months ago with a project. It was immense fun.

There are so many people who have made or make coming here a joy, everyone , and I mean everyone in S.M.A.C.K.J.A.C.K and S.A.S.S.A.F.R.A.S.S, people like ozanna AZ, Warty, Sals,Frecklestoo, Maybear, vonne the gang in the Harbl thread, the gang in Community polls, it goes on and on and some of my favorites are not mentioned yet.

There are also the new ones who have made the effort to let me know I in some way helped them break the ice and get started. I appreciate that you took the time to tell me.

Those who know me, those I've made an avatar or signature for, those I've asked for help with one thing or another, those I've had a friendly exchange with (either on the boards, in PM, or in one of my rare appearances in chat), those I've spent time with in GoddessChat or Skype, all of you Mods (can't forget them, ya know), and anyone else who has caused me to pause and think about something, or put a smile on my face, or caused me to spray coffee or Sprite on my monitor...I appreciate ya!

I've watched this thread since Khan began it. I, like many others, can't begin to start naming names. There are SO many people here that have touched me :naughty: No... not like that! :rolleyez:

There are some truly great people/friends here! :awwhug: You all at the Oasis!! You know who you are! :awwhug:

You folks at Lostaways and the Arcade are just the bestest folks around! :Hugglepounce: You are so fun to play with! :lmao:

Some of you have really been there when I've needed a shoulder and haven't minded at all when I needed to vent.

Some of you who I haven't even interacted with very much keep me coming back every day just so I can see what you're up to! :rofl1:

I've said it before in the BooB thread, and somebody said it here... It's the PEOPLE that are the best part of the forum! :flex:

Again, you guys that are truly special to me  You know who you are.... I'm not gonna name names, cuz sure shootin' I'd forget somebody and then I'd never forgive myself.

There are so many posters and groups of posters that I appreciate for one reason or another. I've looked at this thread from day 1 and have started to post numerous times but couldn't pick just one. I decided to make a list and periodically I'll add my thanks to each one. So, in no particular order ....

I thought I would begin with a timely nod of appreciation to a special group of posters on this board.

From the time I started lurking (early in season 1), I found one of the resources of this board invaluable -- The transcripts!

These scripts have aided me in crafting theories, challenging theories and my work in the Walkthrough threads in the C&CD forum.

Our first transcriber, spooky, doesn't frequent our community anymore (sorely missed). But I still appreciate all the hard work and countless hours that she put into the first seasons of LOST, and giving us (and the whole internet) the transcripts. Yes, my friends, at the beginning -- she and she alone transcribed the LOST episodes.

When spooky left, vonnegut stepped into her shoes and worked extremely hard and contributed many transcriptions. It's a lonely, thankless job for one person and I want vonne to know that I (and I'm sure many others) appreciate her efforts and hard work.

Now, one of our newest mods -- ZIA -- has put together a fantastic team of our members who are enthusiastically transcribing our missing episodes.

Here is the Official Transcription Team (http://www.losttv-forum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=50361) (so far)

Brian
Dew
Locke 'n' Load
Lostitute
MaggiePixel
Zia

So, for those past and those present -- Thank-you for making this happen!

You don't know how much I appreciate Brian for all the work he does with the forum. It's like he's a computer and he's around 24 hours a day and never misses a beat!
As well as Gertie, LostForever, Steve Holt, Maybear, and Cousin Eddie, who's photoshop chops are some of the best. I know I'm forgetting people, but it hot as hades here, and I can't think right now.:spit::thankyous

Not sure if I've posted in this thread before, or not.

I won't name specific names, yet. I don't have the time to type up something meaningful and heartfelt.

Those of you who are close to me know who you are, and I thank you for being so amazingly easy to talk to and incredibly awesome. <3

And for those who I don't know...strangers are just friends you haven't met yet!

There's actually a much darker version of that line that I happen to like, but...eh, not the right time or place. :D

There are certain posters on this board that always bring a fresh perspective and intelligent observations to theories and other serious discussions. If I notice their names when scrolling through the forums, I'll stop and read what they have to say.

One of the posters that I appreciate in this manner is interplanetjanet.

So janet, I want to thank you for your many thought-provoking contributions that have enriched many a thread and made my time here more enjoyable.

Wow where to even start....

Khan- honest, fearless, smart, and sexy and always there to not only listen to me whine about the stupid situations I run head first into but to also lift me up enough to get myself back out of them.

LPU-blunt, smart, funny as hell, and onery...always makes a thread better by showing up in it.

Foxxie, Leia , Bekka and Zia-irresistible, sexy, brainy, and fun. The kind of girls you'd love to hit the town, have a few drinks and sing kareoke with.

H4P forum hottie, great fun to talk to, can talk about anything and have something worth hearing to say about it.

Sals and Frecks the best comedy duo since..ever, always make me smile, laugh, spray coffee out of my nose.

KingofSnake- always good raunchy fun. The type of guy that'd always be welcome to come along on those drunk kareoke nights with Leia,Bekka, Foxxie and Zia

Smirnoff Ice Prolly the biggest and most fun smart ass on the board, and that's really saying something. Also would be dragged along on kareoke night so he could make fun of us in person!

OPsomeone I like even though he found God, LOL. Always fun and an occasional trouble maker, two qualities I find highly admirable

Ash-gotta love a guy that loves and knows music the way he does. Love reading his post in the music forum

LIHE and Scot, I mean Dusk- for being unendingly sweet and funny and somehow managing to pull off being young and not at all annoying (something i never figured out at their ages)

RockyRacconIn the same league as Ice for snark with the bonus of having similar social and political ideas

Maestra, ILE and Blue Sunrise- for consistently being the biggest sweethearts on the board and still being onery!

Warty The king of cool what else can be said?

Brian always kind, always even tempered, the voice of reason among all our unreasonable voices

melostmo cause you just never know what he's going to say but you can usually count on him to say it in 5 words or less

Tater fun, funny and cool, even if he roots for all the wrong sports teams. A good buddy

Marshall For being my conservative friend who secretly has a heart of gold

Mattie best taste in men of all of us and fun to read!

Gertie for all the randomness. Far more brave than people realise

and ofcourse

Lp who every single day, during LOST season or hiatus. always makes Community Polls the most fun place to be here.

Finally....our mysteriously vanished SoL- smart, and a smart ass....not as much fun around here without ya!

And to everyone I forgot I'll pop in and ramble when I realise what a jerk I was not to include you in the first round

It's safe to say i appreciate every poster i've ever interacted with (whether it be good or bad) and lots that i haven't on these boards, all in different ways and for a lot of different reasons...I've met some good friends here, but also i've been exposed to lots of different people from different walks of life and thier opinions and views, and whether or not i agree with them is irrelevent, i feel richer for the experience. I'm obviously going to miss some people out b/c it's impossible not to as this is such a large community, so i'm just mentioning here those who spring emediatley to my mind as i type this.
Obviously the first that are those who have actually become part of my RW life away from this place.

Three years ago i would never have even concieved that i would allow myself to become this close to anyone off the internet (i mean come on) and that i would actually get to know well enough to allow into my RW life, but these 3 people have become as much a part of my life as my family, i love and respect them more than i can ever say and i am thankful for them every single day, those people are:

TheWatcher.
UKLostie.
Frecklestoo.

There are also others on here who i just can't help but like for many different reasons, mostly because thier posts can make me laugh, but also whos caring, funloving and basically awsome personalities IMO make it impossible for them not to stand out a mile in any crowd, shine and be noticed for the wonderful people that i think they are, these people help make this place somewere i truely enjoy being:

The Life Of Riley.
Leia amos.
gertie.
IwannaBeLost.
Found in The land of Lost.
DogMa.
Blue Sunrise.
Wicked Sweet.
Dezzie (who even though i've only recently noticed, comes across as witty and fun and her posts can literally crack me up)
CLUCK THE MAGIC DRAGON.
sals.
MayBear.
LV.
Lostitute.
fozzie.

Then there those posters who even though i don't know them, i will always take the time to read thier posts because IMO they're direct, honest and blunt, they don't bandy around putting frills on things and just say it how they see it like it or not, they can take as well as give critism, yet still remain dignified which are qualities i respect. And i know i'm always likely to learn something from them, even sometimes about myself.

Khan.
Opaque Palace.

Also all the mods, they go above and beyond to keep this place running smoothly and keep us entertained and this place wouldn't be possible as it would be a complete shambles without them. And last but not least, there are those posters who although are not mods, still give up a big majority of thier time to go above and beyond for this place, whether it be creating art (sigs, avs, banners etc) for others, doing the transcripts, posting "step by step walk throughs on how to" etc, help and advice at the help desk, or helping to create some truely brilliant hiatus games, i appreciate and respect the dedication it takes to do that.

Now i'm looking at my earlier post i realize that i also put fozzie instead of foxxie (although i do remember when foxxie was fozzie) that will teach me to just quickly make a post and not check it.

I was in such a rush earlier, that i also forgot to mention 3 other posters that i had wanted to...Now for whatever reasons, they no longer frequent these boards, but never the less, i still appreciate them and i wanted to add them in here.

The Tempest (who back then used to be called Fair Verona)
SoL (i can't remember who he used to be back then)
It was those two who brought me out of lurkdom on here in the first place.

I tired to make a list but, I have made so many wonderful friendships, that it would be impossible to name them all without leaving someone out.

I appreciate, respect, and love each and everyone of you for the unique qualities that you bring to the board.

To those who are closest to me......Thank you so very much for listening and being there for me. And I thank you so very, very much for opening up and letting me be a part of your lives for a brief moment in time. It never ceases to amaze me the trials and tribulations that we go through as humans and the strength we can gather from one another. I have gained courage, faith, and so much more, and have grown as a human being. Thank you all so much and know that I <3 you all.

To those that I just know from the board........Some of you have made me laugh so hard over the past 2 years, that I have pee stains in my chair. I still have posts from days gone by that have been bookmarked and I go back to read when I need a good belly laugh. Some of you have opened my mind to new thoughts and actually made me challenge myself to think outside the box. Thank you for all the laughs and for provoking me to use more than 10% of my noggin.

To those that I never really knew at all......Yeah, there are a lot of you guys out there, but, in some way, shape, or form you found a way to squirm into my conscience and make me notice you, even though I may have never had any contact with you at all. Just know that I see you and appreciate you.

Many thanks to all the mods of the board for giving so much of their time to make this the best place on the internet.

And a very special thanks to the Big Guy who pushes the buttons....if it were not for you, none of us would be here.

I <3 everyone.

Nowadays I read more than I post, so please all keep doing what you do best because you amuse and inspire me even though I never directly converse with you.

Some people I was fond of in my earlier days have moved on for one reason or another and I miss their company, but I still come back to keep in touch with friends like Mel, Hand TBC (with his wonderful love of footy).

DogMa is nice to everyone and respects other ideas.

.
I guess this is what I'd have to say about IwannaBlost. She has spent countless hours of her life teaching/mentoring me, I was such a n00b when I got here. She's always patient, kind and willing to lend a hand. Even when it involved running up her phone bill making calls for me/passing on messages, or the random freak outs where no-one can understand me, let alone calm me down. She's always willing to listen and sometimes that's all a person needs. I don't even think we knew each other the first day we spoke. I just know a certain couple of gals had reduced me to tears & she said "come hang with me, I'll have your back. No-one will mess with you any more...and if they do, screw em, who cares what they think? I like ya". She has been a pillar of strength and inspiration for me and I truly cannot imagine my life having never met her. I feel priveleged to have been on her crew since the first Oasis (http://www.losttv-forum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=17073) and have spent countless hours of my life with her goofin off on Yahoo. 'Goddess' you have one faithful follower here. And you know I don't claim that lightly, for us felines are independant creatures by nature ;)

Equally important but with a few differences in circumstances is of course my bestest buddy MayBear. We both have been through some amazingly difficult circumstances, but we always seem to be able to make each other smile through the pain. I swear she has got to be the easiest person to talk to that I've ever met. She lives by compassion but has a sarcastic streak that has taught me alot about toughening up and helped changed how I view the world. She calls it like it is and I can always count on her wicked sense of humor to give me a laugh when I need it the most. And though I can never repay it, I will always appreciate the care packages she has sent me when I was unable to provide certain things for myself. It takes a special kind of person to be willing to take a chance on someone they've never met in real life out of the kindness of their heart and I pray that her sweetness is returned to her thousandfold.

Beyond that
Ahhh what a nice thread! :)
So many nice peeps I could mention. Boonian Androphile got me on the forum, but I've known him from before. So I don't need to thank him on here.
~His posting has been sorely missed here.~
Goddess, Maybear, Gertie, LV, Tute, Cluckster, Cupcake, lrob, Catnap, & SO many more of my Oasis buddies. I remember youtube chat nites with Zia, Leia, Melanie, Rzr, Scoob, Cran, LIHE, OHN, Doo, rocky & more. Bonded over dog avs with Mikashuman -(RIP) & strandediniowa.
I've HOBNOBed, Harbled & Hootenannied with LAH, UKL, lucy, Darkshines, Bekka, frecklestoo, & many more. I've even polled with Lost pigeon from time to time. I've dabbled in theories. I've W.H.A.T.D.A.H.E.L.L.ed more often than I wanted too (thanx to the show not to the thoughtfull posters). Big shout out & :awwhug: to the many I'm sure to have missed.
I thank you all for the memories.

:nanabobo: well pfft to you too :nanabobo: I love people who say they don't wanna make a list for fear of forgetting people then do it anyway :p

Well regardless, you're on my list, so eh. And you're only as cool as a cat because you're vincent :nanabobo: no better or worse...:D

The rest would be the people I've gotten to know over the years including some who have been gone for a while. Each and every one of my peeps has made their own impact on my experiences here and for that I am greatful.

Jinjure - I don't remember how we met, just that I enjoyed talking bout Austin with you, I probably asked if you knew what 420 meant ;) :toke: :p I don't even know where to start...I would just hope you know you hold a special place in my heart ;)
Everlost - man, where did you go?? I see you on yahoo, but it's not quite the same...
Bekka - I first met you as a mod. I was so stupid back then and made so many mistakes but you were so cool n patient, you never treated me as anything less than an equal. If I never told you, thank you for that! You are always so wild and carefree and I really admire that. You also talk netspeak/lolcat like I do most of the time, and it's nice to talk to someone so easy to understand ;)
Tater - my ol GH buddy. You drive me up the wall most days, but you have been very loyal and that is one of my most important requirements in friendship. You aren't afraid to tell it like it is either, which I heartily respect. to kindred spirits indeed :toke:
Sunnyskies- Was great to see you in ECL! I hope all is well with you, I miss the free makeovers in the old Oasis days :D
Shar - I don't know what ever happened to you, I lost touch with a bunch of peeps during my absence but I haven't forgotten you & I miss how we used to hang out!
ZIA - my first non-Lostaways friend :D I always enjoy braving the GD madness with you and I refuse to be intimidated now that you're a mod :) :congrats: btw!
marshall2u - I assume you ended up on mypolitics and thats why I never see you anymore, but I've enjoyed your sense of humour and the way you always seem to keep yahoo chat goin when no-one's got much to say. You need to learn how to just say goodbye though, instead of these constant "I'll be back" lies :p
azteclady - when I first made it to lostaways from GD, I felt very intimidated because I didn't know anyone in this community and you made me feel welcome. After all these years, I just wanna say thanks again for that :)
Hodgepodge, Noav_Sigless, island_maveric and juanbong, you are missed! Also, you 4+ Brian, well I've never known you as non-mods so it's probably why I don't know you as well as I could :p But you guys have put in thousands of hours for free only to deal with new drama every day. To all of you, :thankyous:!! In dealing with my own site, I know what a pain modding can be!
And to my fellow Felines, TBC, Khan, and catnap, *raises paw* y'all are awesome! The cats are the ones that know where it's at!http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f206/R_O_R/Smileys/AniWild/Cats/cathug.gif http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f206/R_O_R/Smileys/AniWild/Cats/cat40.gif http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f206/R_O_R/Smileys/AniWild/Cats/congaline.gif

To all my Oasis (http://www.losttv-forum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=60237) People and all the SASSAFRASS (http://www.losttv-forum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=14884) ladies, I'm sorry I can't remember every single person's name, but each and every one of you know who you are, and I appreciate you for just being yourselves. This forum would not be the same without each and every one of us.

So I hope I've suprised a few people and/or brightened someone's day/night, and not stomped on anyones feelings. This was long overdue and I'm glad I got the chance to come here n say it :awwhug:z the forum

This made me smile. I'm glad I wasn't the only one who missed her, and I had the pleasure of speaking to her again very recently. I'll need to make sure she checks out this thread next time she's online :D

Roary :awwhug: You are such a good friend to me. You have been there for me during some pretty rough times. I am sooooo glad we are friends and I will ALWAYS be there for you. Your words really touched me and I trully am thankful for your friendship...even when you sometimes told me things I did NOT want to hear....that what friends do. ;) I love you Tashi!!! You are a very special person and you will always be important in my life. You are like the sister I never had and you are part of my Oasis family. I always believed that Fate( or a higher entity) had a way of bringing people into your life when you need them. Not all people stay, some are only there for a short time. I am so glad that Fate decided I needed you and that you stayed!

I haven't had the internet for a while so... I pop on when I can.

I do miss the forum, but it's gotten so big, and I get lost easily, haha.

Thanks, Scott, for the heads up.
