Claire finally gets a storyline! (2 seasons later)

May I be the first, to say how relieved I was (And also frustrated) that Claire went missing at the campfire?

Well I was (For the most part), Because finally, TPTB are giving her character attention. Leaving Aaron makes me wonder and the "Miles Stare" at her with Aaron.

Did Miles hear something be said about Claire? Is he concerned for her? Or is he getting messages from the Island regarding her?

Why does Sawyer have to be mean to Miles? I think he was genuinely going to help Claire, or try to help her. I guess I no longer thinks he wants to kidnap the baby, otherwise he would have yelled out of the bushes at Keamy. Unless he has another motive.

Lastly, Christian comes in and acts like a grandaddy. Probably my favourite part of the episode, even though it was short it was very sweet when she said "Dad!?!". Not in the good way. If only Sawyer was awake, he could finally tell her she was related to Jack and get it over with. My guess is Christian is going to lead her to the Cabin. Hurley will go back to the Beach, Claire will arrive and learn about her connection to Jack.

Actually, I think Claire wandering off to commune with her dead father involves her more in the mystery of the island, adds a lot more tension to the post rescue situation back in the real world, and makes a pretty strong case for her still being alive.

...but I thought Danielle was gonna make it too, so don't quote me on this...

Maybe this storyline exactly.

We know rescue is likely to be happening any episode now.

Claire has gone AWOL, the way I see it, Miles and Sawyer bring the baby back to Kate. Kate is offered rescue, she gets off the Island thinking Claire is dead when she's not. That's the only possible explanation to me at this point. I think it might happen.

But then again, this is Lost. Hopefully something amazes me and they surprize us all.

I couldn't agree more. I love the kid, but with Aaron she can do nothing without everyone complaining "Why is she putitng her life at risk when she has a child." now she has a reason. A reason like Michael, but hopefully we get more development.

If they don't address the helicopter, they will probably do it way in the future. I'm sure they haven't forgotten it.

I think she will be shown boarding a helicopter. I mean that's the whole reason that Charlie died. Just were will it be taking her will be the question.
