Frank is quickly becoming one of my favorite characters. I love his line in "Cabin Fever" in response to Keamy: "We're flyin'". :)

Brian you have to get a chuckle out of how his eybrows move everytime he speaks i.e. "we're flyin" or when he told Michael (paraphrasing) "I thought I was a conspiracy theorist but you got me beat there" followed by that wicked chuckle :)

He comes across as a character who knows when to pick his battles. I know he hasn't forgotten what he said, "Let me worry about Keamy" and I'm sure he'll do the right thing when the time/place presents itself.

Although, if anyone else could fly the helicopter, he'd probably be dead already after that conflict on the freighter. I wouldn't be letting anyone watch over my shoulder while flying if I were him. (Yes, I know it's difficult to learn to fly by watching, but this is TV and LOST after all.)

Some sites say JF was born in 1952 and some say 1956. I was born in 1952, me February and he in November. I cannot believe that I am actually older than this man. I have hardly any gray hair. I have been hooked on him for more than a score now. If you really want to see a good JF movie rent White Hunter Black Heart. He co-stars with Clint Eastwood. There ought to be a law against a man looking that good.

This morning I was feeling really bad. I could not reduce my pain level. At that point I figured take a different pill watch some tv. It was already on Sci-Fi because the last show I watched bas BSG. So here I am feeling just awful and guess what I see on my lil old tv--- Lawnmower Man!!!!!!!!!
Yes that was the movie that was on. I had only missed about 10 minutes so I was in luck. Pouring rain and pain were dashed away as soon as I saw a 39/40 year old JF with a chest smooth as a baby's butt. Needless to say I was feeling much better until 1:30 when it was over. Geez how come I never ran into that man when I was 39/40??? Damn!!! JF :swoon:

Chair is coming along nicely. I out on the 1st coat of polyurethane today. While waiting for it to dry so I could sand it (had to wait 3 hours) I popped in a DVD - Wyatt Earp. I forgot how much I liked this film. A tad long but so many thespians I could name. JF played a real baddie in this film. Ooooooo...scruffy pilot or dirty scraggly, wild bearded cowboy, he is still intense. He played the part of Ike Clayton, the guy who set the wheels rolling for the showdown at the OK corral. He can make his eyes do all the talking. Niceeee :wub:

I just finished upgrading my PC memory a tad. Took out the 2 256 400-MHz DDR SDRAM chips and installed 2 1G chips. Mucho more memory. Pages load faster. Wonderbah!

If I need to have a total revision of my right knee replacement this summer/fall then I will give myself a boost and have it colored but only the color of my natural hair. As I recall he joined the freighter crew to investigate the cover-up of the crash - now that he knows Widmore was responsible for the fake crash he'll want to investigate Widmore, and that's best done off the island.

I think Frank, Penny and Desmond will figure out a way to help the ones left behind. Soon as Penny finds out that Ben is out to kill her, he cannot go back to the island then, she may be on a mission to get away, from both her father and Ben.

Frank's reason for wanting to be part of the Widmore team was to find the truth, especially about his friend Seth. I believe Frank holds a great amount of guilt over the fact that he was supposed to be the pilot. Not only did his friend die but 323 others too. I believe this guilt is why he starting drinking heavily and let his life go to hell in a hand basket.

I also keep reminding myself of an interview with Kristen where he said:
This may not be Frank's first island.

Photobucket is free to sign up for, Dew. Just go to their main page (http://photobucket.com/). It only takes a few minutes. As long as you don't go overboard, the free service should be fine. They've added a ton of new tools which will let you re-size, crop, etc that I could've used years ago. It took me about 6 months here before I had to switch to a paid account there and that's only because I use a ton of pics. If you have any problems, just let me know.

Back on topic, I really hope Frank has a big role in next season as well. I figure the main reason he was even involved with the "rescue", aside from being a pilot, is that he wanted to find out what happened to his friend. Odd that he never asked anyone what happened to the pilot. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we haven't seen the last of him. :)

You can either save them to your hard drive and upload to Photobucket or, what I do, is just use copy and paste. Copy the URL of the image into your clipboard and then use the "Upload from URL" option and paste it there. It takes a little practice, but you'll get the hang of it Dew. :)

Brian and I really like the line from Cabin Fever - "We're flying".

Keamy tells Frank to get in the chopper to fly them to the island. Frank says hewas hired to fly the science team. Keamy insists. Frank says no. Keamy says I'll kill you. Frank - I don't think so since I am the only pilot on board. Keamy slits the doc's throat and there Frank is, arms firmly crossed in front of his chest. Defiant then a quick ok we're flying and before ya know it he is in the chopper. :lmao:

The one thing that gets me out of all his lines is when he says "I saw a cow"...it was a freaking bull! I sure hope he is back in some capacity next season. :)

btw I agree...he is a great actor even if he is mostly B films. 41 films this guy has made and there are some still in progress. Quite a way from his Silverado movie in 1987 :)

The last pic I have of me is just before my skeleton decided to go kaput. I have not been very ambulatory so the weight gain was unfortunate. I am on the down swing wtih 2 new hips and 1 new knee (which may need to be totally replaced again this summer). I work out at the Wellness Center in the heated therapy pool approx 2 hours 3-4 days a week. Finally getting some muscle tone back. I am determined to get back to my normal weight. The rest is just bonus material. Soul just gets stronger :)

LOL Are you doing a rewatch this summer? I'm midway through Season 2. Just got down watching "Maternity Leave". There are some real gems in S2. I love all the Locke v. Jack moments. I don't understand how Locke can let Jack treat him like that.

Well I have S3 on DVD. Since I am on my 4th transcribing jaunt I don't want to sit and watch an episode on the PC for a bit. I tried Netflixing S1 but never had enough time. I will do the S3 re-watch since I can sit comfortably and watch on TV. I don't know how long I will last tho. Looks like more surgery this summer.

As for topic. I was not feeling well earlier. My neighbor picked up my meds at drug store and when I got them I decided to rest a bit. I fell asleep about 5:30ish.

My neighbor comes to check on me around 7:30 and guess what. I missed another JF movie. DANG! 15 minutes from the end and not ONDemand. Sheesh. It was Hunt for Eagle One/Crash Point. It was from 2005 and he played the part of Col. Halloran. Wierd seeing him in a buzz cut and clean shaven. Still hot as ever. Nice to see his lips tho ;) Still icy blue eyes :faintthud Time to NetFlix some of his movies again. I still think he is sexy as all get go in my avatar.

He learned early on to use his entire body when portraying an character. Using just eyes and words wasn't the way. I think he learned about that aspect of his craft during his Broadway and ballet skills. He used all his knowledge artfully in portraying Frank. Lots of new actors aren't as well rounded. They seem, at least to me, more one dimensional. :)
