Claire's Band-aid

In Cabin Fever, Claire was in Jacob's cabin, wearing a Band-aid on the right side of her forehead. (No screencap yet; one would be appreciated. Thanks in advance).

In Par Avion, goth Claire also had one on the right side of her forehead.

History repeats itself? Or, was this simply a scene that somehow mirrors the time loop theme as exhibited by Horace's scene with Locke?

I noticed the Band Aid, too. It wasn't there when Claire was asleep by the fire. Weird.

It could be that Claire appears how Christian remembers her, but her hair would have to be black in that case, you'd think.

It could also be that both Christian and Claire are not really there, they're both visions and are a summary "sketch" of what Claire and Christian are/were like in real life.

The band aid it really strange, but as stated, it could have something to do with the strange time anomolies relating to the cabin in some way.

Maybe it has something to do with the fact that the "manifestation of smokie (?)" can touch things?
My guess is something they use for mind control?

She seemed wanting to give her baby away just like Bunny Frou Frou mentioned.

She was acting like she was in a cult. Or at least what people act like when they're in a cult on tv and in the movies.

Clearly she wouldn't give up Aaron to a tree if she was in her right mind, nor would she be happily joining Christian.

I noted a bruise on Claire's right forehead but I didn't see a band-aid. Now I've got to rewatch. But her eyes seemed really creepy - different than the Claire we know. Plus that teeny little half-smile she gave Christian freaked me out.

Its a bandaid, there is a cap on darks. The positioning of it is exactly the same as the one above.

just saw the original Manchurian Candidate. raymond shaw, the brainwashed guy, rocks a band aid in the same spot for a while in it.

over the same eye, no less. and he talks and looks a lot like claire did whilst she was in the cabin.

and the bandaid covers a very suspicious red stripe --- usually it's just the pad covering the wound -- on her it looks like the entire band aid is needed to cover the wound ---
