Can anyone tell me the name of the pie Charlie said he missed during last night's episode? Right after Claire said "Warm, fluffy towels... okay you're turn." Charlie said something about a toffee and cream pie. I suppose it's a British dessert, and since I'm American I've never heard of it, but for fanfic purposes I would really like to know the name of it. I heard something like banaffee... something like that? If anyone can hook me up with an answer, I would appreciate it a lot!

That's what it sounded like to me as well...

I'm not sure if he was saying Toffee and Creme Pie as in two separate things or a particular kind of toffee pie. I did a search and did come up with a several toffee creme pies though...

Being English myself I can put your minds at rest and tell you that he did indeed say Banoffee Pie. Also, it is one of the yummiest deserts on the face of the Earth (especially my Mum's) and now I miss it too!

If you ever get the chance make sure you try it. It's bananas and creamy toffee with a biscuit base.
