Zap has written about the effect Charlie's disappearance has had on him and the rest of the band, and we've also added some new photos to the gallery section.

Wednesday is almost here and you know what that means! Another flurry of updates to Second Tour of Finland, The Entirely Unofficial DriveSHAFT Fansite.

Here I am on the fifth week of pimping the site and frankly, I'm running out of entertaining ways to do it. So why don't I just quote some of the things people are saying about STOF?

The IMDB Message Boards announce that the site is Cool, if slightly creepy. Only slightly? Room for improvement!

A Nameless, Faceless Blogger provides a link, calling it disturbingly detailed.

Other buzzwords and phrases used in reference to the site: confusing, unbelievable and intensely weird.

....what? You didn't think we were gonna go around quoting TV Guide, did you?

So come on over and see The Crazy for yourself. And did I mention the t-shirts?

Hello everybody. Thanks to a keen-eyed visitor to Second Tour of Finland (http://www.driveshaftband.com), we were recently informed that our site had been hacked into. We've been so distracted by the fact that Charlie is lost that it completely escaped our notice. We're not sure how or why, but apparently someone thought it would be a laugh if they replaced some of the DriveSHAFT facts, photos and album covers with those of other bands and, in some cases, with entirely fabricated information.

We can't imagine why anyone would want to spend so much time and energy to make this stuff up and then go through the trouble of posting it in such a way as to make it look totally legit. Seriously, people! Someone had way too much time on their hands.

We've done our best to remove all the false information from each page and replace it with the story of DriveSHAFT as we know and love it. So to those of you who may have only recently discovered our site, possibly due to the publicity surrounding Charlie's disappearance, we encourage you to take a second tour of...Second Tour of Finland. It's like a whole new website up in there!

Massive thanks to Polilla, who alerted us to the fact that more than 50% of the site needed to be taken down and replaced with the accurate information. MUCHAS GRACIAS! :)

In my last post I forgot to thank everyone who has taken the time to stop by the site and drop us a line about this wacky project. We appreciate every comment, even the snarky ones!

Just a small update this time around. We've added a few items to the Bootleg Section on the Music Page at Second Tour of Finland (http://www.driveshaftband.com). There you will find some cover songs that Charlie rocked with a couple of the opening bands on the DriveSHAFT tour. We've also posted a snippet of the video for "(You All) Everybody". It's an oldie but a goodie. Relive it in all its sweat-drippin', hair-stylin', couch-loungin', laminate-flappin' glory. Or, if you're a newer fan, experience the cheese for the first time.

And because we just don't know when to stop, please enjoy this gratuitous post of the cover art for the "(You All) Everybody" single.
