What secrets do you think that Charlie holds?

I've been wondering that... I'd like to see him as one of those 'dark-not-dark' characters who's really a great guy, but HAS made some stupid decisions or whatever. Don't think he has any storyline-affecting secrets besides the drugs thing, though.

he'll probably have some other issues, once the whole withdrawl storyline passes, they'll need new material anyways

I think there may be some kind of secret behind the whole band thing. That's whyt I'm looking forward to the next episode so much because it all has to do with Charlie. I can't help but wonder what happened to him and his bandmates...because, wouldn't he have been with them?!:\

I was thinking that maybe someone in the band had an ego problem [kinda like what happened with Guns n Roses]

My theory is that the band broke up because something Charlie did or because of Charlie's drug problem.

The thing is, I don't think the band actually did break up! In the pilot, Charlie said to Kate, "We are good. We're still together." Of course, I suppose he could have been lying or in denial, but I took it as they just lost a lot of their popularity and began to struggle. And the drugs probably had a lot to do with it. I suspect Charlie is not the only band member who had a drug problem... maybe there was even another band member who died because of drug use, but that the "core" of the band was still together. and the remaining members, knowing Charlie had a problem as well, pretty much ordered him to go to rehab or lose his place in the band.

This, of course, is all pure speculation... I think we'll know much more after this week's episode...

Yea my local TV guide said something about Charlie's brother having a drug problem too, I believe. Not quite sure but that's what it said.

It's very interesting, and considering his background I'd love to see what went on to make him turn to drugs. Just your typical rocker gone bad, or was it something else.

Charlie's bro said that he missed his daughter's birth cuz he was w/ Charlie looking 4 a fix [for charlie] and Charlie's bro is not using drugs any more, so maybe they DID break up cuz of Charlie's drug issues...uhhh...yeah...

Hmmm...I think drugs will be a big one...maybe he'll have a secret about a woman, maybe a secret love (not just "relations") or something. :rolleyes
