Well, with 22 people voting in the last poll, and 23 members in our club, amazingly enough we still have a tie for first place, neither with a majority vote!
And so, this is it. Two choices. Which shall it be?

Scorpio is well cooler, Ruskies sounds like baby food. Plus Scorpio was the name of that awesome character on the Simpsons, Hank Scorpio, and he was a badass too.

Believe it or not, yes! :)
Despite appearances, R.U.S.K.I.E.S. is actually one vote ahead, because one of the people who voted for S.C.O.R.P.I.O. has so far not accepted an invitation to join the club.
However, neither option yet has a majority of club members supporting it. We now have 26 members, 14 consitutes a majority. 7 have so far not voted in the present poll:
Corgi
King of Snake
Lost In A Vortex
Rocky Raccoon
rooskygirl
TheOwl
Thermmese Krell
Of these, Lost In A Vortex and Rocky Raccoon have voted for R.U.S.K.I.E.S. in the past, so we can probably assume that's what they'd vote for this time. That would bring R.U.S.K.I.E.S. up to 12 votes, just 2 votes shy of a majority.
Thermmese Krell voted for S.C.O.R.P.I.O. in the past, counting his vote now (and discounting the current non-member's vote) brings S.C.O.R.P.I.O. up to 10 votes, 4 shy of a majority.
King of Snake and rooskygirl have voted previously, but not for either of the current choices. KoS posts regularly, but rooskygirl has not been active for more than a month and a half.
Corgi and TheOwl have never voted in any of the name polls. Corgi hasn't been an active board member in more than 4 months, though. TheOwl posted less than a week ago.
Looks like best-case scenario is we might be able to get two more members to vote: King of Snake and TheOwl. If they both go for R.U.S.K.I.E.S., we'll have our majority. Otherwise, no majority, but R.U.S.K.I.E.S. still in the lead with members abstaining. At present, it looks like S.C.O.R.P.I.O. will not be able to get a majority, unless new members join the club and cast their votes for S.C.O.R.P.I.O.
At this rate we have a few options:
1. Leave the voting open until the 24th (the age at which Mikhail volunteered to save the world), and accept whichever name is in the lead.
or
2. We could go with S.C.O.R.P.I.O.R.U.S.K.I.E.S. - Soviet Cyclops Overkilled Russian Patchy is Immortally Outstanding, Revivals Under Suspicion, Killed In Every Show.
Thoughts?

Our membership now numbers 27. 14 is still a majority. R.U.S.K.I.E.S. now totals 13 (with past voting behavior taken into account), and S.C.O.R.P.I.O. totals 10 (with one non-member vote deducted).

We Love Mikhail So Much That We Could Not Decide On A Name To Best Express Our Feelings. After Every Season Ends And Throughout Hiatus, We Are Still Here Thinking About It. We Don't Talk About If He Is Alive Or Dead. We Never Mention The Patch. We Are Much Too Preoccupied With What The Name Will Be. Maybe We Should Stop And Ask Ourselves, What Would Mikhail Do?

That won't help, see above. Blame the R.U.S.K.I.E.S. supporters, for two variants!!! ;)
However, if you do want to change your vote, you would give R.U.S.K.I.E.S. a majority support, which would knock S.C.O.R.P.I.O.R.U.S.K.I.E.S. off of the options for the next poll.
