My most favourite anime ever.

I waited a year to get the episodes on disk because I didn't want to ruin it by watching it on Youtube, I like it that much.

It's definately worth watching if you haven't seen it already. It's very good-not 10/10, but definately about an 8 or 9. Don't be put off by the fact the main characters are wolves, it's not a children's show, and there are a few adult themes and bloody scenes. And the ending.. bittersweet to say the least.

Now, if only I could get my hands on the manga and the limited edition DVD boxed set..

So, anyone else watched it?

I love love love love Wolf's Rain! Definitely one of my favorites, too. Awesome story, characters and music. I shed some tears every now and then and the end is just.. well.. I got very emotional. ;)

I totally forgot to mention the music, and I'm listening to it now! It's what got me into Yoko Kanno and her music, and I've not looked back since.

'Strangers' and 'Heavens not enough'-beautiful beautiful songs.

I loved "Stray" from the very beginning. Listening to it right now. :D The rest is wonderful, too.

All in all a very grown-up anime, very serious at it's core and still heartwarming. It left me speechless at times. Pure magic.

(I'm not very much into Mangas and Animes anymore. I was but I stopped years ago. But Wolf's Rain got me. Wonderful.)

ETA: Ahh.. just listening to the soundtrack makes me sad again. *sniff* Gravity <3

Here's Wolf's Rain's Opening (Song: "Stray" by Steve Conte) and Ending (Song: "Gravity"), for anyone who's curious:

The ending always makes me cry. The song, the running wolf.. *sigh* Probably the only one I never skipped.

I really adored Wolf's Rain. What a great show....

Right up to the ending. Sorry, but it really bothered me, and kind of ruined the show for me. I don't mind sad endings, but it was a bit much. While I can look back and remember the music or animation fondly, the show- not so much.

Just loaded the entire series and OST onto my iPod. :D

I never did get to watch it all yet, so I'm starting from the beginning and working through again now. Love this show so much~ :)

Yokko Kanno's music is excellent. I have the Wolf's Rain sdtk and Cowboy Beebop sdtk. My son loves to dance to Beebop, mostly because of the variety.

My favourite songs are from those two soundtracks. Her diversity is amazing :)

(Also: On episode 23 now! Anime marathon woo)

For those of you who like the soundtrack.. I found a remix of the ending theme, Gravity, and it sounds pretty good.

It's renamed 'This Time Tomorrow', is remixed by a certain djpretzel, and I really recommend giving it a listen.

You can listen and download from here: http://www.animeremix.org/remix/67/

Houkou, I'm glad you brought back the ending to your signature. It's so pretty. And sad.
