After witnessing what happened to his future wife, shouldnt that mean that he believes in miracles/fate? Or is it possible he did for a while, and when he got divorced he lost his faith?

Doctors are quite often skeptic... :p

It's the age old thing to do with science vs faith

yes yes, laugh for it's 1am and I'm exhausted and can't spell.

But you know what I mean.

I believe that ever since he was a little boy, his father never gave him any respect and never any hope. This gave him the impression that theres nothing more to life than what's given to you.

We don't really know what happened to the divorce/end to the wedding, but something tells me that it was something horrible to dimish Jack's hope.

We'll find out soon enough.=)
