Question about PM's

Obviously these aren't like e-mailing people. But if I want to send a multiple PM to folks, is there an easier way to do it then typing in each persons name in the 'to' field?

Not currently. There is a modification to be able to do that. But the last time we installed it, it messed up too many other things, enough to not make it worth it. *Maybe* (that's a BIG maybe) with the new software install it will become available again.

ETA: What I do, if I'm playing a game or something, is just copy and paste from old sent PMs, or keep a handy-dandy list in a notepad file or something.

I just realized that there is another way.

The people would have to be on your Buddy List for this to work.

Open your Buddy List. You will see a box to the right of each name. Click in the box for each person you want to PM. Scroll down to the bottom of the buddy list and click the "PM Users" button. You will automatically navigate to a private message with the names already filled in.

But Iggy, when you send a PM, you can only have 5 people in the "send to" box. (or whatever that box is called :D)

It's limited to 5 people at a time (I had to check the settings). If you're sending to 10 people, you'll have to send two PMs, 5 names each. At least, that's the way it's supposed to work.

I don't have a buddy list set up. If it makes sending multiple recipient PMs then I may set mine up. :D

Rose, when I open my buddy list and scroll down there is nothing that says PM users button.

LL - are you going to "Quick Links" (upper right) and then clicking on "Open Buddy List"? A new window should pop with the components that I mentioned.

But if you are going to the Buddy List from your User CP, that won't happen.

It's very handy - I just went in and added my Survivor teammates - makes it easy to see who's around. :)
