The first incarnation of this thread has been a blessing for me. I have made some terrific friends, re-connected with old friends, and found the love of my life...

You ALL ROCK!!! I love you all!! Pleas join me in setting fire to LA II!!!

And, to think...I didn't think the first one would get any replies...

My name is G, and I am a LOSTaholic.

Our goal is to be ALL INCLUSIVE, NEVER EXCLUSIVE. As fans of LOST, we all have a commonality. As people, we should treat each other well. So, come on in, have fun, and respect each other :D

I would like to welcome anyone and everyone here, to a place of safety during this hiatus. The only requirement for membership is a desire to make it through this long hiatus in a civil manner :D

I'd like to open this forum with a moment of silence for those who are still on Craphole Island.

Now for the LOSTaholics Preamble:

LOSTaholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their theories, thoughts, and polls with each other that they may solve our hiatus blues and help others stranded in Purgatory.
The only requirement for membership is a desire to make it through this hiatus in a civil manner.
LA is not allied with any sect, theory, or trollery.
Our primary purpose is to survive the hiatus and to help other LOSTaholics achieve Season 5.

The 12 Steps of LOSTaholics Anonymous

1. We admitted we were powerless over TPTB, and the show is unpredictable.

2. Came to believe that a power greater than Benjamin Linus controls the island.

3. Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of Jack or Locke, whichever we believe will save our asses.

4. Made a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves, before we meet Smokie.

5. Admitted to ourselves and others that we have no clue what the Theory Forum is talking about, but it is hella good reading.

6. Were entirely ready to have Locke blow up every station on the Island.

7. Humbly asked Cousin Eddie to keep making LOST Spoilers.

8. Made a list of all the times Hurley said "Dude".

9. Made direct comments to the television whenever Jack says something really, really lame.

10. Continued to take personal inventory, in case we run into Mr. Eko and his big ass stick.

11. Sought through psychedelic plants and sweat lodges to commune with the Island, asking only not to be gored by a boar, eaten by a polar bear, or have Smokie tree-smack us.

12. Having had a successful four seasons, we sought to re-watch LOST in hiatus to catch all of the little details to beat the hell outta that dang quiz.

Approved? I saved them to my Desktop. Then when I clicked on Album and upload it took me to Browse. It opened my desktop and I just clicked on the one I saved there and hit save and it did!

I see them LL. A mod must've approved them. I remember that the albums are moderated. Mods make sure the pics are PG-14 I guess. It said so in the documentation somewhere. I asked cs1 to approve my first attempt. I have been playing with my profile but have stopped to work the other project which is a lot more fun. :naughty:

Usually Adobe Image Ready comes with Photoshop. You should have it. I tend to use MS gif animator though. It's a really simple program.

Hmm...I remember that last song! I used to think it was hilarious, but at the age of 7 or 8, I had no idea what it was really about.

How are you? Have you started organizing for your move yet? When I did, I started packing things when what's his name wasn't around and putting them out in the garage with the other boxes out there. I also put things in closets that I knew he never went into. He never noticed any of them. Made things a ton easier for me on the day of the actual move.

AND I didn't do it overnight... It's been like a dozen years.... without gastric banding or by-pass surgery... :shiny:

I hear you...reading that took me back...in '89 or '90, I took a Greyhound from Iowa to NC. I met a kid around Nashville, who had a bunch of acid. I bought 3 hits from him, and dropped them. Imagine sitting on a Greyhound bus in the middle of the night on three hits of acid listening to Saucerful of Secrets...many of the pivotal emotional moments of my teens and early 20's were to the soundtrack of Floyd...I need to buy some Floyd, now...

That is sad news. :( They have been playing Pink Floyd all day on the radio. When we're kids we don't think much about death, but now, at 39, I see the people I grew up with and the musicians I listened to dying all the time. Most of them way before their time. I remember how sad I was when Eric Carr of KISS died of cancer. Great guy, loved the fans, and died the same day as Freddie Mercury, so got a brief mention on MTV. Gene Simmons fired him as he lay on his death bed in the hospital.
I don't believe they will ever find a cure in my lifetime:(

Hey everyone. I am also saddened by the news of Rick Wright's passing. As some of you already I know, I have been a fan of Pink Floyd for many, many years. One of their songs currently plays when you open my profile. G, Frosty and I have discussed some Floyd concert experiences - and as I have told them, my one and only Floyd concert was truly cosmic. I can close my eyes and feel the warm breeze and the amazing vibe that night. A true loss for the music world.

I'm glad to be home for the evening and am settling in to watch the football game.

Since I am working Friday night and driving up right after work, I am not taking a chance at driving home and am getting a hotell in Philly. May do some sightseeing before I return Sunday, but don't know Philly very well, so not sure yet. Would love to take the Eastern State Penetentiary tour, but who knows.
