Why is the ARG Dying??

As you may or may not have noticed, participation in the ARG has been steadily declining. I'm just wondering why that might be.

If you have stopped participating why?
If you haven't why do you think others have?

I think it's just asleep. Maybe they're making the same observations that we are, and acting on the next steps acordingly.

Let's see...the game started late, and the "tests" seem to consist of nothin' but a different Flash game each week. I'd rather play Flash games at any number of other sites. And other than the "I'm on the inside" quote and a couple of short video clips, no real underlying mystery has been presented.

I think regardless of the lack of imagination, and the ease and speed with which the games are completed and cheats are found - the overall problem is that there's no content between tests, nothing to do but except whinge, moan, speculate and build-up frustration. IMO.

Oh, ...apart from S.T.S. here and elsewhere with like-minded folk.

I'd have to go for the lack of any narrative... TLE sucked you in from the beginning because you wanted to find out why Persephone was hacking the HF website, and what she was trying to reveal.


The pacing of this "game" is atrocious, the implementation not much better...


They lost me on the first test... I despise tangrams... I haven't been back since.
