Two of the characters from an earlier casting call (http://www.losttv-forum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=55849) have been cast. :)

Exclusive: 'True Blood' finds fresh meat in Camp and Jones (http://ausiellofiles.ew.com/2008/12/ashley-jones-an.html)

True Blood has just cast its first new roles for season 2, and both picks are bloody fantastic!

First up, Broadway babe Anna Camp -- she's currently horsing around with Daniel Radcliffe in Equus — has been tapped to play the series-regular role of Sarah, the hot-to-trot wife of Steve Newlin (aka the Fellowship of the Sun's big kahuna). And The Bold and the Beautiful's stellar Ashley Jones has booked a six-episode arc as Daphne, a new Merlotte's waitress -- and I hope, I hope a new love interest for poor Sam. (P.S. soap fans, no, she won't be hanging up Doc Bridget's well-worn stethoscope; the two-time Daytime Emmy nominee will juggle blood transfusions and blood-suckers.)

So what do you think, guys? Are you psyched about the new additions? Or are you too busy counting down the days (and days and days) 'til HBO's Golden Globe-nominated smash kicks off its second season? Tell me about it below.

• More fresh blood! Wes Brown (We Are Marshall) is the latest addition (http://ausiellofiles.ew.com/true_blood/index.html) to True Blood's season 2 ensemble. He'll play Luke, a God-obsessed hunk that bonds with Jason (Ryan Kwanten) at a church camp, in at least six episodes.

Are you a "Bold and the Beautiful" fan but feel like you just don't get enough vampire sex and blood guzzling in their version of Los Angeles?

On "The Bold and the Beautiful," Ashley Jones plays perennially dumped Dr. Bridget Forrester, the daughter of Eric Forrester and Brooke Logan. At the moment, Bridget's busy getting reacquainted with her father who's just come out of a coma (and gone back to Stephanie? Not sure how we feel about that ... What do you think?).

Anyway, per Michael Ausiello at Entertainment Weekly, it has just been announced that Ashley will be joining the HBO vampire drama "True Blood" next season. She'll be playing a new girl in town named Daphne who takes a job at Merlotte's roadhouse. We're not sure just how her character will fit into the supernatural goings-on in that particular corner of Louisiana, but we bet we'll find out in spades over the course of her scheduled six-episode arc. Let's just hope that if Daphne gets a boyfriend on the show, they don't dump her for her mother (twice) or her aunt like poor Bridget. Actually, with "True Blood," she needs to be more worried about getting dumped for a werewolf, a zombie or a gorilla or something.

Fear not, "B&B" fans -- Ashley will not be leaving the Forrester family as she'll keep working her day job while she moonlights at HBO.

What do you think she'll be getting up to on "True Blood?"
