In watching tonights re-run of "All the Best Cowboys Have Daddy Issues", Boone tried to explain the "red shirt" crew member concept from Star Trek to Locke. Locke replied [paraphrasing about Capt Kirk] "...Sounds like a bad captain."
Watching it tonight was kinda funny. Last week I saw an old Star Trek: The Next Generation in which Terry O'Quinn played a Star Fleet Admiral. In the past, the character was a "corrupt" Captain in command over Riker. Thus, he played a "bad captain."
