This is my first post so excuse me if this has been covered already. Just wondering if Locke's scar that is above and below his right eye is real (meaning Terry O'Quinn already had it) or was it created for the show? Whichever it is, I kinda like it :)

Unless this is something the actor got recently, this scar is the work of the makeup artist. I browed to www.imdb.com and looked up Terry O'Quinn and there are several decent pictures of him. None of them show any scar.

I agree though. The scar adds character.

Welcome, Nutts 4 LOST!

As Feldspar so kindly told you, Locke's scar is part of the character, acquired during the crash. I hope you enjoy your time in the community - keep looking around for all sorts of interesting discussions on topics ranging from the mundane to the philosophical!

Terry posted at the Fuselage saying that he and the makeup artist came up with the idea for the scar.....and that he spends about 10 minutes in makeup to get it done.;) I like it too...it makes Locke look even hotter and more badass.:evil
