What ever happened with that plotline? Monsters? Giant dinosaur birds? Denfinetly something I would like to see again! Even a boar at this point!

Last season they forgot about the monster for a string of episodes here and there. They need to get back to the dark territories for the beastie to put in another appearance.

I would like to find out more about the Dark Territory, but for now, the castaways have no reason to go there.
That is, not unless they decide to look for the radio tower.

I would, after searching the bunker for manuals and what-not, be back to the Black Rock in a heart beat. The ship needs to be searched for charts and log books if for no other reason. Think of the tools and supplies that would be on a mining ship.

A search of the ship might provide some charts and other stuff they could use.

The lostaways don't seem to interested in solving any mysteries right now. They seem to be in denial about what they all experienced in the few days before and after the hatch was opened. Seems like a non event in camp. However next weeks episode looks pretty tense to me. Perhaps it will get things back on track.

Why does it rarely ever fly then?, if it's a bird I mean, doesn't it live underground , or in a cave?, for like 99% of the time?
And it sounds like a very mechanical thing. It's probably man-made(or aliens of course). Maybe it's triptacon from the The Transformers. This giant mechanical T-rex.
Probably not, but anway, I seriously doubt it's a bird.
