Right now our provider Unicel is being taken over by AT&T Wireless, and with the switch I have the oppertunity to get a new phone. Right now I just have a razr v3, but was looking for somthing that was better for texting, maybe with a full qwerty keyboard. I'd also like to have internet too, but I dont want to spend a lot on a phone. Radio shack has the LG VU on promotion for $50, anyone have any experience with it?

Reccomend a good phone?

I friggin love my EnV, and all my friends/neices are convinced they got the wrong phone ater playing wiht mine. I'm upgrading to the new Env as soon as my free upgrade rolls around.

If you text at all the Env really rocks

I have always had really good experience with Sony Ericsson phones.

My current phone is a flip, with a 2GB walkman, 4 MP camera, full bluetooth, internet and all the usual stuff. Its only 1.1cm thick. It cost £100 so thats probably only $130 / $140 given current rates of exchange.

Its really easy to use and Ive never had a phone break from them.

I will. One of the guys I bowl with has one and I was checking it out the other night... seems like it has alot of features and alot of avalible apps. Its kind of like the poor mans iphone.

If you qualify for an upgrade the new iphones are only $199.

Samsung Eternity is also a good option available w/AT&T.

ETA: Refurbished iphones from AT&T are only $149.
