I know, I know, cloves. But dear god, I really think something is wrong. The tooth has crowned WAAAY too close to the lining of my cheek, its like, cutting in. I think I will have to get it pulled at the dentist, which I cannot afford right now. Any long term solutions? At the moment I am taking 500...mg? paracetamol every four hours. The entire left side of my face ACHES.

Try washing your mouth with salt and water to try and prevent an infection. The last thing you need is an abscess. I know money woes but this is something that the sooner addressed the better you will feel and in the end will be cheaper. Feel better.

Gah. As soon as transport links where I live are back open, I'll go to the dentist :(

Aw... I sooo feel for you, I really, really do. I just got mine pulled and I am terrified of the dentist! If you need to wait to go, you should just get yourself a script of something strong. I hope you feel better. :(

Ooooh, I feel better already....seem to be getting a fever though..... :D

Seriously, its eating and sleeping that are the main issues, and I think thats what is bothering me. If I can't sleep or eat, that does seem to indicate dentist time :(

Is there a dental SCHOOL somewhere nearby? Usually you can have it done there for free, but you will have students working on you.

Theres an NHS clinic about 40 miles away, we have had snow here in Wales and all the transport links shut down for a while.
